I always say we are perhaps living in the single greatest moment in human history, and believe me I stand by it. Here's the proof:  - All-time high literacy rates - Record healthspans  - Energy access globally is at record highs  - Child survival rates have shattered expectations  - Intelligence & energy are collapsing in cost for the first time ever  What else can we ask for?

I will always fight to protect school choice. To that end, I support the Biggs plan for a one-for-one ballot measure exchange - if the teachers union drops their anti-ESA measure, the Senate will repeal HCR 2040. Short of this, I see little chance of a special session. I trust parents to make the right decision for their child’s education, not government bureaucrats. The filing deadline is Wednesday.

🏌️🏆 PGA Championship winner, Aaron Rai on why he uses iron covers: “I grew up in very much a working-class family, and golf has always been a very expensive game. I started from the age of 4 years old, and my dad used to pay for the equipment, pay for my memberships, my entry fees. And it wasn't money that we really had, to be honest, but he'd always buy me the best clubs. When I was about seven or eight years old, (my dad) bought me a set of Titleist 690 MBs, and they were like 800-1,000 pounds back then, just for a set of clubs for a kid. I cherished them. When we used to go out and practice, he used to clean every single groove afterward with a pin and with baby oil. Although on the PGA Tour, we get given equipment, and we get given everything that we need, it's more out of principle. The value of not losing perspective of what I have and where I am. The covers are going to stay, I'm sorry."

The fight over the “Billionaire Tax” has uncovered the following truth: A small group of people are trying to normalize being an unaccomplished grifter who can’t make hard decisions and would rather take from winners even if it’s illegal or unconstitutional. In doing so, it would torch the 4th largest economy in the world! This is what little care they have for the future. So, do you want to tell your kids that being a loser is ok? Don’t try, just take from others. Or do you want to tell them that you get out of a system what you put in and adults need to step up and make hard decisions. Let’s vote on the tax so we can decide where the State of California stands and ultimately when this insane push to socialism ends.

Becomes more and more true every day…
If you’d like to get rich or stay rich, I’d encourage you to develop the ability to change your mind. Most ideas are shitty. So staying fixated on shitty ideas creates an anchoring bias that will weigh you down to the mediocrity of the masses. Learn to change your mind and skate to where the puck is going to be. Others who can’t change their minds will constantly remind you of a former opinion. Ignore them. They want you to be down there with them so they can feel better about themselves. Don’t fall for it!

This is so touching. A young boy pays condolences to Charlie Kirk’s family and proceeds to do a Bible study lesson. These are the kind of young men we should be raising. May God bless him. ❤️

Once again, a bullet has silenced the most eloquent truth teller of an era. My dear friend Charlie Kirk was our country's relentless and courageous crusader for free speech. We pray for Erika and the children. Charlie is already in paradise with the angels. We ask his prayers for our country.

Not a single child was proficient in math in 55 Chicago Public Schools. They spend $30,000 per student per year. Abolish teachers unions.

I had a child “diagnosed” with ADHD several years ago. The immediate reaction of the people involved was to prescribe drugs. We refused. Absolutely under no circumstances were we going to let our pre-pubescent child take amphetamines which is what these ADHD drugs are. More generally, I found the diagnosis process shoddy, the availability of resources for my child (tutors, executive function help etc) to be scattered and expensive and the desire of the school to “solve” the problem lazy and reductive (sit alone, go take tests in a separate place, have more time on assignments and feel isolated from peers). It can’t be the case that so many of our kids have ADHD and are then put through this. I find it more plausible that economic incentives drove an entire industry to spring up around an FDA approved drug that, looking back, mostly doesn’t work. People make money diagnosing it, tutoring around it, coaching around it, etc etc This has done decades of damage to kids. Here is a summary from Grok of a great article in the NYT. teapawt.net/i/grok/share/QrZi1ynUN…

We shouldn't be applauding federal education policies—even if we like them. Instead, we should push for a constrained federal government that doesn’t control our lives or those of our children. fee.org/articles/beware-of-f…

Congratulations to my friend, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, for the biggest launch of a School Choice program in American History, with $1 Billion Dollars for 100,000 students in Texas. Senator Brandon Creighton did fantastic work passing SB2. Lt. Gov. Patrick has now passed School Choice six times out of the Texas Senate, only to see it die in the Texas House every time, but he never quits. The Texas House must now pass School Choice to deliver a gigantic Victory for Texas students and parents. I will be watching them closely. I’ve made School Choice a priority of my Administration. We need School Choice passed in every State! Donald Trump Truth Social Post 01:50 PM EST 02/08/25

School choice is the key to unlocking opportunity. It doesn't matter what your background is—school choice is supported by overwhelming majorities of Hispanic Americans, African Americans, and white Americans across the state. Together, we will secure school choice.

@TArchPrep, an all boys microschool in Arizona, we lean into frequent breaks for athletics and chess. Everyone including staff plays chess, which replaces the obsession for on line activity. #microschools #BOYSANDMEN
A boys' school makes boy-friendly changes and gets great results! Some are as simple as opening the playground for 20 minutes before school starts. They drew on @LetGrowOrg for our "play club" program edweek.org/leadership/what-b…
