As promised, our Legal Advice Clinic is here to stay!⚖️ Every 4th Wednesday of the month, you can visit TCS for legal advice. Services are provided Barrister & Attorney Tanisha Butler. The clinic is open from 5pm-7pm, with refreshments available. DM for directions if needed.

⚖️A Free Legal Advice Clinic will be hosted at Transitional Community Services. 👩🏾‍⚖️Ms Butler specializes in Landlord/Tenant, Court Proceedings, Employment Matters, Family/Estates and more. She will even be providing document certification at no cost.

H.onest💯 E.xchange of🗣️ A.uthenic💪🏽 T.hought💭 H.E.A.T. is a high-energy debate night where Members speak freely, think critically, and challenge each other with confidence and respect. We never know where the discussion will end up but we enjoy the journey.

Our guys have jobs, family support, they 're housed, but they're still hungry. Employed, Unemployed....what about Underemployed? As our cost of living rises, our guys find themselves making sacrifices to survive. And eating less is one of the first sacrifices they'll make.

Time is moving fast, and the work is keeping us busy. For the first quarter of the year, our Member's overall risk level dropped, but 40% of our guys are still food insecure🍽️ Read below a story of a Member of the CBB program and how his work with his LC has brought him success.

TCS and its staff are on our annual staff holiday break. All the Members in our program have been given what they need for the break, so we can take one too. Happy Holidays and we'll be back in January.

We were privileged to receive a visit from the Governor, His Excellency Mr. Andrew Murdoch. We were honored by his humility and understanding of what we do, as well as the real life stories of the men we serve. Thank you to him for his visit, encouragement and support.

Last night wrapped up Frankco Harris' research with TCS. Themes were: mistrust trauma masculinity & barriers our guys know all about that. The conversation, although structured research, was honest, saddening, but also inspiring. Thanks for seeing the value in their voice.

This month's Member's Night was with Breaking Point Rage Room. We broke some things, ate KFC and were hosted by Seth hooking us up with the things to hit. Leadership Coach Gavin and boss lady Tiffanne got in as well. 10/10 fun. We're doing it again next month👌🏾

Celebrating a special man in your life for Father's Day? Gibbon's Charity Shopping Day benefits TCS tomorrow, Thursday the 12th. Stop by for a gift for him, while supporting us. TCS supports adult men with individualized services, helping them become the men to be celebrated.

Wrapping up Mental Health Month, we want to highlight that the men in our CBB program request counselling. Men find it harder to ask for help, but the men at TCS ARE asking, & of that we're proud. All services at TCS, including counselling, are free, thanks to our donors.

Only 30% of the Members of our CBB Program are currently unemployed, yet 45% of our Members use food services. David Thompson and Christ Church Warwick have opened up their food services to us, delivering 30 meals a week. Thanks to Alex at Resolution Re for the connection!

🥂🎉On Feb 8th 2021, we started to provide individualized support services to young adult men who needed guidance, support, and a chance. We aim for a day where we aren't needed anymore. A day where young Bermudian adults are fortified to be happy, productive community citizens.

Last week we hosted our Open House celebrating our new location, setup, and 4 years of TCS. We were proud to show our new offices which provide an accessible and useful space for the Members of our program to have a soft landing during their journey with us.

We'd like to highlight one of our former program Members Mical Russell who just won a bronze medal in the Nations Cup inaugural PickleBall Championship. Due to confidentiality we get rare occasions to highlight our Members. We're so proud of Mical and what more is to come.
