Today's near $150 decline in gold and over $3 drop in silver are ridiculous. Clearly this has to do with a short-term liquidity problem that will likely show up in the broader markets perhaps as soon as next week. In the meantime, it's an unexpected gift to investors to buy more!

The US is fucked... The Iran war was a big mistake. The Iran war is about to break the UST market, which will in turn break Western sovereign debt markets. No amount of bombing can change that... Iran has spent decades preparing for this by building its military infrastructure deep inside mountains. But if Trump launches another bombing campaign, it will only accelerate the UST meltdown and deplete US ammunition stockpiles... And since the entire US military-industrial complex is heavily dependent on China, an ally of Iran, China's export restrictions on dual-use goods are only weakening America's ability to sustain a prolonged war. Boots on the ground would be a suicide mission, as Iran's topography resembles a fortress, with narrow passages through mountains. You can't simply roll into Iran with tanks... You would have to advance on foot. The least painful solution would be to accept Iranian terms, but as the saying goes, the US will do the right thing after trying everything else. Not only will Trump fail to accomplish any of his stated goals... After the war, Iran will emerge as the regional superpower. And the US military will lose its position as the most powerful military in the world, ushering in multipolarity.

Investors are pulling away from USTs... Just as the US needs them the most. The problem with the current situation is that with $40T in debt and $2T annual deficits, the US can't afford higher rates... Yet rates are rising. So far, Warsh is acting tough and even hiked rates slightly to save face. The problem with higher rates is that they blow out the deficit even further, forcing Bessent to issue more debt. In other words, Bessent is increasing the supply of USTs while demand is vanishing, putting even more upward pressure on yields... It's a self-reinforcing doom loop. We don't own enough gold for what's coming.

In response to hotter-than-expected inflation data, gold & silver are following bond prices lower. But inflation will keep heating up as the Fed stays behind the curve. This is bullish for precious metals. When inflation rises faster than nominal rates, real interest rates fall.

Both capitalism and socialism try to satisfy the needs and desires of the people. The difference is that only capitalism succeeds. Private owners of capital have a profit motive to satisfy their customers. Government bureaucrats have no such incentive and are instead motivated to use their political power to enrich themselves at the people's expense.

It is criminal that our government enabled a bat virus to infect and spread between humans. Indeed, it is hard to imagine a bigger betrayal of our species. It is equally troubling that the mad scientists who did this then gaslit all the people of the world about it, including those who CORRECTLY interpreted the evidence. Then, of course, the very same monsters amped up fear of the Covid frankenvirus and steered the panicked public away from safe medicines, and toward an obviously dangerous gene-therapy which they falsely called a vaccine in order to lure us into acceptance. These are among the greatest crimes EVER committed against humanity. We now have persuasive evidence of everything I have said above. If we don't correct the record and hold the perpetrators to account, this pattern will happen again, and again, and again--shortening our life expectancy, and degrading our quality of life each time that it does. This is our Nuremberg moment. We can not simply move on from this ghastly chapter of history. We must finish it. @brownstoneinst

I’ve been reading and studying the founders of Bitcoin and crypto trading platforms over the last couple of days. A lot of these guys started out as software engineers at the big banks, programming high-frequency trading software and futures systems. It’s obvious these criminals knew from day one that this digital fairy dust is a tool for other criminals to launder money and illegally move funds in and out of international jurisdictions. Money laundering and illegal transfers gave them the core use case and the initial liquidity. The dumb gamblers then supplied the float for them to suck blood from. Their entire trading platforms are just meat grinders built to extract blood from dumb-ass degenerate gamblers.

The Great Dissuasion (The Financialization Trap) Wall Street and governments have systematically gaslit investors into avoiding physical gold. They labeled it a "barbaric relic" and a "non-yielding asset." This was not an accident; it was a structural necessity for their survival. The Need for Collateral: Modern governments run massive, multi-trillion-dollar deficits. They desperately need domestic capital to flow into their sovereign bonds to fund these deficits. If capital flows into gold, it starves the government of funding. The Fee Machine: Wall Street runs on management fees and leverage. You cannot charge an annual performance fee or engineer complex derivative leverage on a physical gold bar sitting in a private vault. The Yield Illusion: They mocked gold for having no yield. But in an era of Financial Repression—where governments deliberately hold interest rates below the true rate of inflation—the "yield" on a sovereign bond is mathematically negative. Gold having a 0% nominal yield is vastly superior to a paper bond that guarantees a loss of real purchasing power. 2. The 0.5% Asymmetry and the Parabolic Trigger The fact that global allocation to precious metals is hovering near 0.5% is the coiled spring. When the broader public, pension funds, and institutional capital finally realize that the traditional 60/40 portfolio is broken and paper bonds offer no protection, they will be forced to seek a new safe haven. If that global allocation simply mean-reverts to a historical norm of 3% or 5%, you have tens of trillions of dollars attempting to squeeze through a microscopic physical door. This is what triggers the parabolic move. Western bullion banks have suppressed the price for decades by printing infinite paper derivative contracts (naked shorts) on the COMEX. But when the market panics and demands physical delivery, the paper illusion breaks. You cannot print physical metal. Once the physical vaults are sufficiently drained, a "failure to deliver" event occurs, and the price of physical metal violently snaps to its true value. 3. The Tempering Factor (The Changing of the Guard) this move might be tempered by old holders selling. While Western retail investors might sell their coins to capture a nominal fiat gain, the new buyers are playing a completely different game. The new buyers are sovereign nations (like China and India) and global central banks. When the People's Bank of China (PBOC) backs up the truck to buy physical kilo bars, they are not trading for a quick fiat profit; they are permanently removing that metal from the Western financial system to recapitalize their own balance sheets. They will not sell into a rally, effectively neutralizing the traditional tempering mechanism of a market cycle. The Ultimate Endgame Thus cycle only ends when the printing machine is taken away from the governments. However, they will never surrender it voluntarily. The printing machine will be taken away by the ultimate arbiter of truth: physical reality. When central banks are forced to explicitly print endless money to save their sovereign bond markets (Yield Curve Control), the global foreign exchange market will punish the currency. That is the moment the global market refuses to accept the inflating fiat token, stripping the government of its power to paper over physical shortages.

From 1981 to 2024, the bond market was essentially subservient to the Federal Reserve. When the Fed cut interest rates, the 10-Year Treasury yield fell in lockstep. The central bank set the price of money, and the bond market faithfully obeyed. Then came September 18, 2024. On that date, the Fed announced a massive, aggressive 50-basis-point (0.50%) rate cut, dropping the Federal Funds rate from its 5.25%–5.50% high. On the day of the announcement, the US 10-Year yield hit a local trough of 3.62%. Then, the unthinkable happened: The bond market snapped. Instead of yields falling further as the Fed continued cutting rates into late 2024, the 10-Year yield did a complete U-turn and embarked on a relentless march upward, eventually testing 4.8% in early 2025 and pushing past 4.7% recently. The market completely revolted against the central bank. Here is the breakdown of what happened around September 2024, why the bond market broke its 40-year habit of subservience, and what the bond vigilantes are screaming as yields approach 5%. 1. The Death of "Bad News is Good News" Prior to September 2024, bad economic news meant the Fed would cut rates, which meant bond prices would rise (yields would fall). When Jerome Powell executed that jumbo 50 bps cut in September 2024, he framed it as a "precautionary" measure to protect a cooling labor market. But the bond market interpreted it completely differently: The Fed is cutting interest rates while the economy is still growing and inflation is still well above target. The market realized the Fed was prioritizing employment and political pressure over price stability. The 10-Year yield snapped because investors realized: If the central bank is going to cut rates prematurely into an inflationary environment, holding a 10-year paper bond at 3.6% guarantees a loss of real purchasing power. 2. The Return of the "Bond Vigilantes" (Fiscal Dominance) For almost 50 years, investors focused almost entirely on Monetary Policy (what the Fed does). In September 2024, the market shifted its focus entirely to Fiscal Policy (what the US Treasury is doing). In late 2024, as the U.S. presidential election approached, both political parties made it clear that regardless of who won the White House, multi-trillion-dollar annual budget deficits were going to be permanent. The market realized the U.S. Treasury was going to flood the primary dealers with an unprecedented, relentless wave of new Treasury issuance to finance $2T+ annual deficits during non-recessionary times. The "Bond Vigilantes"—institutional investors who punish governments for fiscal irresponsibility by dumping their debt—woke up from a 30-year coma. They told the Fed: "You can lower short-term overnight rates all you want, but we refuse to buy 10-year paper debt unless you pay us a much higher yield to absorb this massive deficit supply." 3. The "Term Premium" Re-Arming For a decade after the 2008 crisis, the Term Premium (the extra yield investors demand for holding a long-term bond instead of rolling over short-term bills) was near zero or even negative. Investors trusted that inflation was dead and the Fed had everything under control. September 2024 marked the exact moment the Term Premium came back with a vengeance. Investors realized three structural facts: Supply is infinite: The U.S. government has $39T+ in debt and must issue trillions more every year. Demand is shrinking: Foreign central banks (China, Japan, the BRICS bloc) are no longer stepping in to buy U.S. debt at cheap rates; they are actively diversifying into hard commodities and physical gold. Inflation is structural: Energy supply shocks and fiscal spending mean inflation will remain volatile. What Does 5% on the 10-Year Mean for the Horizon? When the US 10-Year yield approaches and threatens to breach 5.00%, it is not just a psychological line in the sand—it is the point of Systemic Fiscal Insolvency. At a 5% 10-Year yield: Mortgages and Corporate Debt Freeze: 30-year fixed mortgages spike toward 8%+, completely freezing the housing market. Corporate refinancing costs skyrocket, triggering a wave of bankruptcies in over-leveraged "zombie" companies. The Treasury Interest Trap: The average interest rate on the entire $39 Trillion national debt starts rapidly repricing toward 5%. As we calculated in our earlier simulation, at those levels, interest payments alone eat up over 35% to 40% of all U.S. federal tax revenue, surpassing the entire defense budget and rivaling Social Security. The Fed's Absolute Trap: If the Fed tries to stop the bond crash by stepping in and buying the 10-year bonds (initiating Yield Curve Control / Quantitative Easing), they flood the system with newly printed dollars, driving oil, gold, and inflation through the roof. If they don't step in, 5%+ yields break the banking system's collateral and crash the stock market. The Bottom Line What you saw in September 2024 was the moment the global financial system shifted from Monetary Dominance to Fiscal Dominance. The bond market stopped listening to the Fed's rate cuts because it realized the Fed cannot print physical oil, cannot balance the U.S. budget, and cannot force sovereign nations to buy US debt. The revolt of the 10-Year Treasury is the market demanding a higher price for holding paper promises in an era of infinite printing. When it crosses 5%, the illusion that central banks are in control officially shatters.

Do you feel like the real economy is completely disconnected from equity markets? You are not imagining it. Markets stopped reacting purely to economic growth a long time ago. They now react to liquidity. When the economy weakens, the natural outcome should be falling earnings, lower asset prices, bankruptcies and debt restructuring. But central banks and governments rarely allow that process to fully play out. Instead, they respond with: Rate cuts. Money printing. Bank bailouts. Fiscal stimulus. Asset purchases. Emergency lending facilities. This new money does not enter the economy evenly. It usually reaches banks, financial institutions, large corporations and asset owners and pump financial assets instead of productive investmens. So while wages remain weak, small businesses struggle and household costs rise, financial assets keep appreciating. That is why equities can rally while: Unemployment is rising. Manufacturing is contracting. Debt defaults are increasing. Consumer confidence is collapsing. The real economy is slowing. Bad economic news can even become bullish because investors immediately expect more stimulus. The market starts thinking: Weak growth = rate cuts. Financial stress = bailout. Falling assets = central-bank intervention. Eventually, equities stop pricing the productive economy and start pricing the probability of the next liquidity injection. This creates a dangerous illusion. Asset prices rise, but economic strength does not. Wealth becomes concentrated among people who already own assets, while everyone else experiences inflation without meaningful income growth. The market is no longer asking: “How strong is the economy?” It is asking: “How much money will authorities create to prevent asset prices from falling?” That is the real reason Wall Street can boom while the real economy quietly breaks.

If you possess true macroeconomic power, you do not need to rig the thermometer to prove your currency is strong. A system that is secure in its supremacy does not need to engage in spoofing, naked shorting, and derivative suppression to maintain its currency's status. The ongoing suppression of gold and silver is not a flex; it is a containment operation. The U.S. Treasury and the Federal Reserve are trapped. They have a $36+ trillion debt load, structural inflation, and a weaponized Dollar that has terrified the rest of the world into de-dollarizing. Suppressing gold is merely them burning the physical furniture to keep the paper house warm for just a few more months. When the physical supply finally breaks, the repricing will be out of their control entirely.

Central banks are not merely managing volatility. They are systematically suppressing it. Every time markets attempt to price excessive debt, reckless leverage, bad investments, or economic weakness, central banks intervene. They cut rates. They flood the system with liquidity. They buy bonds. They open emergency lending facilities. They weaken collateral rules. They guarantee funding markets. And when everything else fails, governments step in with bailouts and fiscal stimulus. This creates one of the most corrupt incentives in modern finance: Private players are allowed to keep the profits when asset prices rise. But when leverage blows up, the losses are transferred to society. Banks collect bonuses during the boom. Funds collect performance fees. Corporations buy back shares. Asset owners become richer. Then the cycle turns, and suddenly the taxpayer, currency holder, pensioner, and ordinary saver are forced to absorb the damage. The losses are socialised through inflation, currency debasement, higher public debt, negative real interest rates, financial repression, and reduced purchasing power. This is the real central-bank put. Markets are trained to believe that large losses will never be allowed. So leverage increases. Risk-taking becomes more extreme. Capital flows into speculation instead of productive investment. Weak companies survive. Bad debts are rolled over. Asset prices become increasingly detached from the real economy. Central banks claim they are protecting financial stability. In reality, they are protecting the leveraged financial system from the consequences of its own decisions. Volatility is not destroyed. It is compressed. It is delayed. It is transferred from private balance sheets to the public balance sheet. And the longer volatility is suppressed, the more violent the eventual adjustment becomes. Private profits. Public losses. That is not capitalism. That is a state-backed leverage machine.

Kevin Warsh’s message today was clear: • Inflation control comes before market comfort • One soft CPI print does not mean victory • The Fed does not want to be in the bailout business • Reckless investors should not assume an automatic Fed rescue • The balance sheet should become smaller over time • Markets must become less dependent on constant liquidity and forward guidance Those are the words. But the reality is that the entire financial system is already drugged on bailouts, money expansion and artificially suppressed interest rates. Asset prices are no longer just about Wall Street wealth. They support: • Retirement accounts • Pension funds • Insurance balance sheets • Bank collateral • Credit creation • Government tax revenues • Broader financial stability The system may talk about market discipline, but it cannot tolerate genuine market-clearing interest rates or a prolonged collapse in bonds, equities and real estate. Once asset prices fall far enough and the plumbing begins to break, central banks will capitulate again. My view remains unchanged: Yield-curve control and Gold repricing is inevitable. Because the debt-based system will eventually leave them with no other choice.

Once again, gold is selling off as the war with Iran escalates. Traders are being conditioned to believe that war is now bearish for gold. Shorts will be in for a world of hurt when they are blindsided by the reality that the opposite is true. Conditions are set for a huge rally.

Fiat money is the biggest scam in the modern world. Not corruption. Not wars. It enables the largest transfer of wealth, from those who earn and save to those who create and control money. The faster you understand the system, the better you can protect yourself.

One look at the graph, and you can see how China pivoted its gold purchases .. just around the dip of gold prices in Feb 2026 from Peak . China is actively weaponizing the volatility of the Western paper markets. Here is exactly how this "buy the dip" strategy plays out, why they are encouraging their citizens to buy and how it guarantees the destruction of the COMEX pricing model. 1. The Sovereign Floor (Buying the Paper Flush) What you are seeing on that chart is the People's Bank of China (PBOC) acting as the ultimate "whale" in the market. The Arbitrage: When Western hedge funds face margin calls (like the Japanese Yen carry trade unwind) and dump their paper gold contracts, the screen price crashes. The Sweep: China does not panic; they wait for the sharp fall and then back up the truck. They use the artificial paper crash to aggressively acquire physical 1-kilo bars at a massive discount. The Result: This creates a structural, unbreakable floor under the price of gold. The days of a multi-year gold bear market are over because the moment the price drops, sovereign Eastern buyers drain the physical supply. China's Advantage: China is the largest gold-producing nation on earth, and they do not export a single ounce of it. When the Chinese government encourages its citizens to buy gold via the Shanghai Gold Exchange, they are executing a brilliant macroeconomic defense. They are convincing their population to trap their personal wealth in a non-sanctionable, hard asset that remains physically inside China's borders. They are actively shielding their citizens' purchasing power from the collapse of the U.S. Dollar. 3. How This Plays Out (The Physical Drain This dynamic ends in a catastrophic physical short squeeze that shatters the Western pricing mechanism. The West (New York and London) treats gold as a speculative trading derivative. They trade 100 paper claims for every 1 actual physical bar in the vault. The East (China, the BRICS) treats gold as tier-one sovereign money. Every time China buys the dip, physical atoms move from West to East and never return. Eventually, a global margin call will hit, and the paper price will gap down violently in a final flush to below 4000. The PBOC will step in, buy everything, and demand physical delivery. The COMEX vaults will be empty. The exchange will default (Force Majeure), and the price of gold will instantly decouple from the U.S. Dollar. China is not just "timing" its purchases; it is systematically draining the West of its real money while letting the West keep the paper IOUs.
