His journey is a testament to a lifelong dedication to service, in classrooms and beyond. To all who serve and have served, thank you. #VeteransDay
This Veterans Day, we honor the connection between service and education. Alexander M. Clark (San Antonio '12) found his path through both. Inspired by his grandfather’s 26 years of service, he joined TFA before enlisting in the Air Force Reserve and later attending law school.
To make national service an attractive post-graduation option for young Americans, organizations such as AmeriCorps, Teach For America, the Peace Corps and the newly formed American Climate Corps should be well-funded and encouraged. wapo.st/3W2WOFT
