"The planned talk, titled 'Re-igniting Student Organizing against Settler-Colonial Amerika on the 3rd Anniversary of Al Aqsa Flood' would discuss 'Gaza’s warrior mujahideen as the tip of the spear' and offer 'strategies for student organizers who seek to confront the liberal Akademy and topple Euro-Amerikan empire where they are.'"

Boston’s youth employment initiatives are the envy of major cities across the country. Still, for many students, finding part-time work shouldn’t be what they see as a lottery ticket, writes @danielidfresne. A youth minimum wage could help serve them. trib.al/uhbmCKS

Like more than 100 million other Americans, I am too young to remember 9/11.
I was deeply moved reading this piece by @AikenKoster and the many other personal stories that have been in the press leading up to this 25th anniversary. Accounts like this show resilience, hope and love in the face of tremendous evil.
It is through sharing these stories that we will never forget. Even those of us who can't remember.
After we lost my friend Arlene in the 9/11 attack, Cantor Fitzgerald ended up hiring me for her old job. A quarter-century later, I met her daughter, writes @AikenKoster

"The crooked grins of partiers are like those that can be found anywhere in the world. Aside from the sirens, only men’s military shirts and occasional broken arms or burnt faces betray the presence of war."

Check out this great conversation between Acton affiliate scholar @anne_r_bradley and @AIER’s @peter_c_earle on consumer perceptions around housing, healthcare, transportation, and food in an age of abundance:
While inflation has dominated headlines in recent years, understanding true economic affordability requires looking beyond raw price tags.
In this episode of The Economist Next Door, we dive into the gap between headline inflation numbers, consumer perception, and real purchasing power.
Joined by economists @anne_r_bradley (The Fund for American Studies / Institute for World Politics) and @peter_c_earle (AIER), the discussion reframes how we measure well-being, considering the actual labor hours required to purchase everyday goods.
The group explores why humanity enjoys unprecedented long-term abundance, while consumers simultaneously feel intense pressure in housing, healthcare, transportation, and food.

Such a pleasure to speak alongside @RandPaul. I pay him the highest compliment I can when I say that, in all the Senate, no one takes the oath of office more seriously.
What does America's 250th anniversary mean to the world? @DanielJHannan, Lord of Kingsclere, joined TFAS students for a lecture on the semiquincentennial, honoring the strength of America and the citizens who continue to uphold it 250 years later.
Thank you, Lord Hannan!
