What a wonderful night! It was great to join the Toronto Foundation for Student Success (@TFSS_), Premier Ford (@fordnation) and many of Toronto's best chefs for Chefs for Change last night. All to fight student hunger in schools across the city.

Today is #WorldFoodDay. Here in Canada, children should go to school hungry for knowledge, not food. Yet more than 1.2 million children are food insecure. Let’s ensure every child has a healthy start here at home and around the world. #ZeroHunger #FoodHeroes @SevaFoodBank @TFSS_

Although freedom from hunger and access to healthy food are #FundamentalRights, there is not at present a #NationalFoodProgram in Canada. Let’s make sure the importance of working toward social justice stays top of mind among our political leaders. @UN #SocialJusticeDay #CanPol
