Travel Gluten Free

ALT Unfortunately, after 12½ years, I have had to take the decision to shut down Travel Gluten Free. I launched the site back in 2010 after finding it hard to eat out Gluten Free on an overseas trip. I wanted to set up a concise location to find great Gluten Free finds the World over so that no-one else would find themselves in the same situation. Thankfully today the provision of Gluten Free options is much more prevalent and the number of sites online to find them is so much better than when we launched.

ALT At the same time, in recent years I have found it hard to commit the time to the site through a combination of work and, more importantly, being with my family. However, the less time you spend on a site, the less useful it becomes and the less people who visit it. Unfortunately though, the costs of hosting the site have continued to go up year after year and I can no longer justify subsidising the site on the off chance that I might suddenly find the time to commit to it! Therefore with the hosting up for renewal, the time to shut down has come.

ALT I want to say a massive THANK YOU to every person who has ever visited the site or more importantly, contributed to its success by submitting your reviews. I know that we have benefited from others reviews and I really hope that many Gluten Free travellers have benefitted over the years from your kindness.

ALT The site will remain online for a couple more weeks until the hosting ends and then it will fade away and I will also be shutting down the social feeds associated with the site. Thank you once again to everyone who has supported the site in the past 12.5yrs and I hope you continue to travel and eat out Gluten Free. Mike
