why do people think Vieira is so much better than Keane? They are at the very least close. Keane was probs United's most important player for a good stretch of a hugely successful period, and has some technical advantages over Vieira. Vieira has his own advantages too ofc

The control, creative qualities, technical consistency of that midfield. Mwah Small spaces, triangles, duels, long balls, ball carrying, box crashing. Has everything. Cesc releasing those forwards quickly or finding KDB between the lines.

Bergkamp is OBVIOUSLY more technical than most players. Also give Henry, Ronaldinho and Bergkamp modern training+tactics+superteam and they'd destroy teams more than they did back then coz build up + placing attackers in favourable conditions improved more than defences have

old comp i made years ago. From what i remember team played poorly apart from Henry sometimes trying to conjure something. Were down 3-1 from first leg - also poor performance from everyone. Henry was the only remotely consistent CL player in this era
