No, I don't think so. SRA and HCU are almost the opposite - that's the problem with the tightrope Google is trying to walk here. SRA is specifically punishing high BA sites that are playing cynically outside of their niche.

We’re going to hear lots of stories about which people, policies and rhetoric are to blame for the Democrats’ defeat. Some of those stories may even be true! But an underrated factor is that 2024 was an absolutely horrendous year for incumbents around the world 👇

This is what happens when you have an ageing population - with more people requiring more pensions and more healthcare paid for by fewer workers
The thing about "the UK’s tax burden is now at a record high", is that this is also true for almost all countries 📈

Interesting that this Google article includes a link to the 100 countries they'll be expanding to. But unless I am missing something, none of those 100 countries include countries in the EU or Middle East!
They're expanding again, but this time to 100+ countries. Whoa -> AI Overviews in Search are coming to more places around the world "With this latest expansion, AI Overviews will reach more than 1 billion global users every month." And languages -> "As part of this update, we’re also extending language support across the board. If you’re in any country with AI Overviews, you can now get them in any of the currently supported languages, including English, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish." blog.google/products/search/…

I share behind email collection, try to make sure the slides/charts are distinctively branded. Quoting out of context can definitely be a frustration though.

I know a @getSTAT Archived SERP tab when I see one. We've been discussing this exact issue - the current plan is to award ranks to the results with a preview, and not tiny citation links. It's not set in stone yet - we'd love to get your input on what you'd like to see!
