As I get older, I’m not worried about wrinkles… I’m waiting for the day I get stuck trying to climb into a truck and have to call a firefighter, “Either hoist me in or lower me down, but don’t leave me hanging here like a lawn ornament.” 😂
Or I fall into a bush and the neighbors think their landscaping has started swearing.
But God forbid I fall into a snow pile. I’ll be buried, yelling, “I’ve fallen and you can’t SEE me!” And knowing my luck, someone will stick a carrot in my face and call it a day. ⛄😂
Man, what a day! Atop the usual cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing, emptied out the walk-in pantry for the guys this week. Having extensive work done. Soil erosion from flash flooding. The backside settled weird over the years, including the roof above the porch.
Having them rebuild all steps on two back porches and three front porches, all railing, bottom of the shed, etc. Moving the washer and dryer in here too. More than enough space. 👌🏼

Some of life's greatest blessings arrive disguised as disappointment & rejection. What didn't work out saved you from something you couldn't yet see. Sometimes while looking back I realize I dodged a bullet...only to have another door open that same day. Can't make this up. 🙏🏼❤️
