WATCH: @amyklobuchar, in her own words, bragging that she made it easier to send money to Somalia.
When fraud investigators cut off cash transfers to Somalia to stop money laundering, she went to work to keep the money moving.
Amy made the fraud WORSE.

❌ Opening the door to allow fraud dollars to go overseas.
❌ Lying about sending attorneys to help.

This is another example of what Minnesotans have come to expect from the Walz/Klobuchar status quo.
With Sen. Klobuchar's top ally attempting to compromise the independence of the Office of Inspector General by putting top staff in place before an Inspector General is even chosen, I hope Klobuchar will put in a little more effort to convince Gov. Walz to stop interfering before the OIG even begins its mission.
The office tasked with rooting out fraud in Minnesota must be independent of the Walz administration.
Governor Walz is moving forward with plans to post job openings in the new Office of Inspector General before an Inspector General has even been selected.
Reps. Jim Nash and Tom Sexton are calling for an immediate halt until an Inspector General is in place. 👇

BREAKING: NYT reports that operatives with Democratic Alaska U.S. Senate candidate Mary Peltola’s campaign were behind the effort to find & recruit a candidate named Dan Sullivan to run against incumbent GOP Senator Dan S. Sullivan in an effort to confuse voters and peel votes from him.
Specifically, NYT says they have reviewed text messages and documents that reveal in summer 2025, a Peltola staffer received instructions from campaign staffers to find as many people named Dan Sullivan in Alaska as possible.
The staffer complied, going through voter records, and compiled a list. The operation “involved secret trips to far-flung Alaskan communities and the appearance of a mysterious Midwestern operative, who traversed the state using a fake name and made his pitch to would-be candidates over beers at brew pubs.”
Per NYT:
“The plan worked. This spring, a retired teacher from a tiny fishing village along the Alaska Panhandle, reachable only by air and sea, announced his candidacy for Senate. His name was Dan J. Sullivan.”

Just shipped two last minute ads this afternoon and (I think) that's a wrap on midterm ads at The Hereford Agency. Proud of the whole team for hitting all of our deadlines and putting out a record number of bangers.
It's up to the grassroots teams and the voters now.

Amy Klobuchar claims she got a bunch of new prosecutors as soon as she learned about the fraud.
“They hired the prosecutors.”
There were 59 when Luger was sworn in, 5 hired for Missing and Murdered Indigenous People. There were 64 prosecutors when Luger left. That leaves 0 new prosecutors hired for fraud.
You got some splaining to do, @AmyKlobuchar.

Amy Klobuchar says she cares about farmers, but a day after promising farmers at Farmfest that she’d work on the farm bill, she voted NO on it. It failed by one vote.

"Crowley is running against someone. I'm running for Wisconsin... Between the basement campaign he's running and talking about the negative rather than what he's going to do for Wisconsin, I think people are going to figure that out and it's part of the reason we're going to win this election."
