I DID IT. My 2026 NBA Draft Big Board is DONE. I don't crunch the most numbers or dive into the most film. Just a basketball lover who writes about LSU MBB + Southern athletics for a living. Thank you for reading a single word of this. My draft philosophy notes are in thread

Vanderbilt's Ant Brown said who needs a follow through on a pull-up 3. Confident 6-3 freshman

Next play down on defense, Gavin Placide slides from opposite dunker spot for the clean block. Nice reaction speed

Gavin Placide getting busy off the bounce for Wake Forest. 6-11 freshman vs Vanderbilt (first power game) looking awfully comfortable handling the rock

This is one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen done on a basketball court

I love it. This time Walter Clayton does make the kickout pass when Wemby stays by hoop. Did a pass fake and then made the pass This is what good NBA players do

Walter Clayton stampede and fakes out Wemby with the pass fake. Nice basketball play got to love it

Nikola Kusturica with a purposeful jump pass. Uses it to lengthen decision-making time + psyches out Ivan Kharchenkov. 17-year-olds in college debut should have a TO on this instead of a skip pass for assist Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje has a challenger for No. 1 in 2028 draft

Dare I say this was Luka-ish on delivery (no way, shape or form comparing their overall games)

Motiejus Krivas with the sweet bounce pass to the cutting Caleb Holt who is fouled. Like how he did this while on the move. Not just a stationary/dunker spot passer

Nikola Kusturica you sir, ARE A DUDE. Offensive rebound over Caleb Holt. Delivers a dazzling behind-the-back bounce pass in traffic. The activity, size, court-mapping, and confidence to do this, JEEZ. Shame it wasn't for a UCLA score

Will Wade is a lightning rod in college basketball. He's also the proud owner of the No. 1-ranked 2027 recruiting class, less than 8 months back at LSU. Before all that, the 43-year-old was Clemson's hardest-working baby-faced student manager nola.com/sports/lsu/lsu-bask…

The basketball gods gifted OKC Mara as I feared. Also forgot I said this
TJ's Basketball Takes (@TJsBballTakes) profile pictureTJ's Basketball Takes@TJsBballTakesMay 8
Please basketball gods, don't let the Thunder don't get Allen Graves or Yaxel Lendeborg or Aday Mara or Jayden Quaintance in the NBA Draft. I'm begging

Wow forgot I said this about Mara/Thunder
TJ's Basketball Takes (@TJsBballTakes) profile pictureTJ's Basketball Takes@TJsBballTakesMay 19
If the Thunder lose to the Spurs, I think Presti trades up to get Aday Mara. I say that half jokingly

Nice set piece. KAT dimes up OG who is sprung open after the back screen by Brunson, with an empty corner

Weakside rim protection will make nerds' hearts flutter with Abdou Toure. Also good fastbreak stuff from Miikka Muurinen
TJ's Basketball Takes (@TJsBballTakes) profile pictureTJ's Basketball Takes@TJsBballTakesOct 27
It'll be fun when Abdou Toure gets first-round status on NBA big boards here in a month or 2. This buttery 3 off-the-bounce isn't even the sell with him
