The Lose-Lose Trap of Chronic Pain in Healthcare As a former nurse, I’ve seen it firsthand: patients in agony, writhing or screaming, desperate for relief—or sitting quietly, trying to hold it together despite unbearable pain. And yet, no matter how they present, chronic pain patients often face a lose-lose situation in healthcare. If you’re calm, composed, and articulate about your pain, providers may doubt you. “If it was that bad, you wouldn’t be so calm,” they think. The label “drug-seeking” gets whispered, charted, or assumed. Your pain is dismissed because you’re not “acting” like someone in agony. But if you’re vocal—crying, anxious, loud, or desperate—suddenly you’re “faking it” or “attention-seeking.” The same “drug-seeking” label gets slapped on, but now it’s because you’re “too emotional” or “hysterical.” Your chart might note “exaggerated behavior,” as if your distress isn’t real. Either way, you’re judged. Either way, your pain is questioned. Either way, you’re less likely to get the care you need. It’s a trap, and chronic pain patients know it all too well. Chronic pain patients shouldn’t have to navigate this impossible trap—stay calm but not too calm, show distress but not too much. They shouldn’t have to perform their pain “just right” to be taken seriously. Healthcare needs to do better. We need medical workers to listen, investigate, and treat pain with urgency and respect. To the chronic pain community: I see you. Your pain is real. You deserve care —not judgment. Have you faced this trap? #ChronicPain #LongCovid #ChronicIllness #Spoonie #EndPainStigma #TLChronicPain💜

NAILED IT thank you.
🚨 THE GREATEST THREAT TO ELECTION INTEGRITY ISN’T JUST FRAUD, IT’S THE PERMANENT, WELL-FUNDED PROGRESSIVE NGO GROUND MACHINE THAT PHYSICALLY TURNS OUT VOTERS WHILE REPUBLICANS RELY ON ADS, CONSULTANTS, AND TWEETS. DataRepublican’s Democracy Files Part 16 (“How the Midterms Were Pulled Off”) shows NGOs bragging, in their own words, about the scale of field ops, registration, youth mobilization, and early voting work that made races “too big to rig.” In Georgia, Melody Oliphant (Executive Director, Georgia Youth Justice Coalition / GYJC) claimed her group knocked more than 19,000 doors and made nearly 49,000 calls, and that this “absolutely made the difference in Georgia.” The flow chart is simple: DONOR → MVP → GYJC → DOORS. GYJC is a progressive youth organizing group (501(c)(4), Abrams-linked ecosystem) that has long done massive campus/door/phone GOTV and claims credit for youth turnout edges. This is not one-off. It’s institutional, year-round paid and volunteer organizers, data-driven targeting of young/left-leaning voters, pledge cards, campus phone banks, and coordination across groups. Republicans have institutional blindness, endless conferences on “the message” while the other side builds the supply line that gets bodies to the polls. Citizenship verification remains largely an honor system, the biggest swings keep hitting among young voters and other high-intensity demos. Republicans can counter this NOW: Build and fund parallel ground operations (door-knocking, phone banking, registration, early-voting drives) instead of treating elections as ad contests. Engage young conservatives on campuses and in communities with the same relational, consistent organizing (not just social media). Support effective local and national GOTV groups that prioritize physical contact and voter turnout over pure messaging. Demand GOP committees and PACs shift resources from consultants/TV to field infrastructure and data. Watch, audit, and match the scale in real time, especially in swing areas like Georgia. Watch the receipts: teapawt.net/DataRepublican/status/… This machine is already running. Match the operational intensity or keep losing the ground 👇

🚨🚨 THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 16: HOW THE MIDTERMS WERE PULLED OFF 🚨 Among today's talk of voter fraud, a critical role is overlooked: the importance of NGOs in early voting. Below, I show the receipts where NGOs directly take a role in making the midterms happen. It's been a long week, and I'm too tired to type up a summary. Just know the two main points: Republicans have an institutional blindness. They believe getting voters is all about branding and messaging. They pay enormous sums to consultants and TV ads and have endless conferences on what the right "message" is. Democrats, meanwhile, have built an entire and expensive institutional machinery around getting people physically to the polls. And they were more motivated in 2026 than any other year. I do NOT deny the existence of voter fraud. Saying the data doesn't show that others claim to show, is not equivalent to saying there is no fraud. As I've said in several posts today, the election system in the United States is structurally set up such that citizenship verification is an honor system. The biggest swings in 2026 were among young people and Hispanics. And 2026 was a concerted effort by NGOs like none other. Watch them in their own words how they pulled it off:

The left never disappoints with their hypocrisy!! Watch @JillianMichaels break it down systematically!! Apparently the left does not understand the definition of fascism because it's them to a "T." They don't want to debate via civil discourse they want to silence us. PERIOD!!

President Donald J. Trump shared my post on Truth Social. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
A lot of yammering about Republican turnout. Greg Abbott (Respected Moderate) EXCEEDED his 2022 midterms performance by 100K votes (and counting). He garnered more votes than any Republican Gubernatorial candidate in Texas history. The problem is Gina Hinojosa gained 1.7 million votes more than Beto O'Rourke. Those are Looney Tunes numbers. Hinojosa got 400K more votes in Texas than Kamala Harris in 2024. She's got more than Joe Biden in 2020 by 5,000 votes and counting. These are not normal midterms numbers. These are retard numbers. Not a single opinion poll before the elections came close to predicting this. Lines at the polling places in Texas should have been around the block to get these results. Unfortunately too many Conservative Thought Leaders are more concerned about screaming "I told you so" and polishing their resumes for 2028 for the upcoming DeSantis-Vance feuds.

As an attorney I am watching your threats on X and national television. I have some advice @RepRobertGarcia: YOU better lawyer up. Congress cannot use subpoenas solely to punish political opponents. Your threats are crossing into criminal extortion and congressional immunity will not save you.

This Muslim woman was forced to marry by her father at age 14 to a man who was 29 years old She says she has to listen to everything he says, do chores, can’t work, can’t get an education, if she speaks out she’s beaten (she says this is how it is in Islam) She got pregnant and had a child If you remove the religion label of this, and relook at this situation, you’d realize this is actually called kidnapping, assault, rape and slavery But because it’s women in Islam it’s expected and encouraged This isn’t some far off in the past thing that happened a long time ago, this is happening to Muslim women right now in 2026 We can’t let this come to America

Susie Wiles and her close aide were screamed at and kicked out of the Oval Office by President Trump last night, according to Real America’s Voice correspondent Neil McCabe. This was after the President became aware of Susie’s efforts to scapegoat Pete Hegseth for the midterm catastrophe and her leaking info about him to the media. Presidential Personnel Office (PPO) Deputy Director Morgan DeWitt-Snow was also shouted at by Trump and followed Susie Wiles out of the Oval. Morgan controls staffing for the Trump administration. I very quickly can gauge dreadful, smarmy, insecure, castrated, lobotomized fools, few of which are as valid exemplars of those qualifiers as @profgalloway. He is a grotesque cretin, which I was able to see long ago when others were infatuated by him. His terminal degree is an MBA, which I suspect is the reason that he insists on repeatedly using "professor" in all of his positioning. He is a glorified teacher, which is perfectly fine, but he uses the fancy title to grant him an academic standing that he does not hold.
Once these sociopaths lost their advertisers they suddenly changed their tune 🙄 Back channel is @profgalloway and @karaswisher are already apologizing to their advertisers and trying to save their 30m+ podcast business

Nobody warned my wife's cousin Tsuchiya that Americans mean it. In Japan, polite sentences are decoration. "Please drop by anytime" means please don't. "If there's anything I can do" means there isn't. So when his company sent him to Alabama for a year, Tsuchiya made a decision. To be safe, he would treat every polite thing an American said to him as an official instruction. This was a mistake. A beautiful one. WEEK 1. "Did you find everything okay?" The cashier at the grocery store asked him this. Tsuchiya answered honestly. He had not. He could not find mirin, a rice paddle, or aisle 7. The cashier picked up the phone. "Need some help up front." A stock boy came. Then the manager. Then Miss Loretta, the 79-year-old greeter. Then a man in a camo hat who had just been standing in line. For twenty minutes, five Alabamians and one Japanese man moved through that store like a search party. They found the mirin. They did not find a rice paddle. The manager went into the back, came out with a wooden spoon, and said, "Keep it, buddy." The line behind him applauded. To this day, Tsuchiya answers "Yes, thank you" to that question even if he has found nothing. He cannot risk another search party. WEEK 3. "Holler if you need anything." His neighbor Royce said this on move-in day. Tsuchiya did not know the word "holler." He looked it up. To shout. Loudly. That night at 11 p.m., the pipe under his kitchen sink burst. In Japan, you do not shout at night. You do not really shout at all. But he had been instructed. So he opened his window and, in his clearest English, shouted: "ROYCE. I AM HOLLERING." Royce came across the yard in forty seconds. Boxer shorts. Headlamp. Wrench. His wife right behind him with a flashlight and, for reasons nobody has ever explained, a whole pecan pie. He fixed the pipe in ten minutes. Then he clapped Tsuchiya on the back so hard his glasses moved and said: "Now THAT'S how you holler." WEEK 6. "Make yourself at home." A coworker invited him to Sunday supper. At the door, his mother, Darlene, said, "Come on in, sweetie. Make yourself at home." So he did. He took off his shoes. He bowed to the house. He washed every dish in the sink, including several from Friday. He folded a basket of laundry. He found the vacuum. About forty minutes in, Darlene walked into her living room and found a Japanese man she had met less than an hour earlier, fluffing her couch cushions. She stood there for a long time. Then she went into the kitchen, called her sister, and said: "Faye. I think I got a new son." WEEK 10. "Come by anytime." He came by at 7 a.m. on a Saturday. They made pancakes. They were thrilled. He came by the next Saturday. And the next. By the time he left Alabama, Tsuchiya had eaten pancakes at that house 38 Saturdays in a row. Nobody ever once asked him to call first. There was a stool at the counter with his name on it. Spelled wrong. He never told them. Somewhere around Week 20, he figured it out. He explained it to me like a scientist. "In Japan, polite words are a wall. A very beautiful wall. You admire it from outside." "In Alabama, polite words are a door. And it is already open. They just say it so casually, you don't notice you're allowed to walk in." He came home in March. In April, an elderly woman moved into the apartment under his. Mrs. Yoshino. 83. She lives alone. On moving day, Tsuchiya stood at her door, bowed, and said in Japanese: "If you ever need anything, please holler." She looked at him like he had lost his mind. Last month, at 11 p.m., her power went out. She opened her window. And very quietly, the way only an 83-year-old Japanese woman can, she hollered. He was down the stairs in forty seconds. Headlamp on. Holding, for reasons he still cannot explain, a pie.

Do inter-species friendships like Tytan's and Notty's last? Well, at this early and formative period in their lives, we find the orphans aren’t so focused on being among their own kind – that instinct will cement later on – but rather about being surrounded by love and support. That’s why Wangalla accepts Bumpy as part of her herd, Notty grooms Tytan, and Chamboi became friends with two gangly ostriches! In the end, most orphans grow up and seek out their own kin. But while it lasts, every friendship is a chapter in a wider story that sees these animals return to a life in the wild that was meant for them. More at: sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/n…

🚨#BREAKING: Two TEEN BROTHERS are being hailed as HEROES after they RESCUED a Florida mom and her little boy who were TRAPPED on their kitchen counter with their 3 dogs as floodwater filled their home... ...the mother called 911 THREE TIMES and no one could come, then two TEEN BROTHERS grabbed a kayak and a paddleboard and went and SAVED THEM!!! ALL OF THEM made it out, the dogs too!!!! ❤️ The t names are Jonah and Lucas Marshall. Jonah is 15. Lucas is 17. They live in Palm Bay, Florida. This week, Palm Bay got slammed by some of the worst flooding the city has ever seen. Brittany Grant and her son climbed up on their kitchen counter with their three dogs as the water kept rising inside the house. No way out. She called 911. Then she called again. Then she called a THIRD time... and was told there were no emergency resources available because of the flooding. So she did the only thing left. She posted on Facebook. A mother saw that post and her two boys didn’t wait around. Jonah borrowed a neighbor’s KAYAK and Lucas grabbed his PADDLEBOARD. Together with another neighbor, they paddled through the floodwater to a house full of strangers. Jonah says they didn’t even think about it, those people were in danger, so they just went. Lucas admits it was a little nerve-wracking... but he figured they were strong and able, so why not. By the time they got there, Brittany and her son had been stuck on that counter for MULTIPLE HOURS. Lucas got the little boy out FIRST. And the whole way, he kept him talking so he wouldn’t be scared. What’s your name? How’s school going? Then he told him: “This is a weird day, isn’t it?” A 17-year-old kid, in the middle of a flood, making a scared little boy feel normal. 😭 The brothers got Brittany, her son, and ALL THREE DOGS to dry land. Brittany says if it weren’t for them, she doesn’t know how they would have gotten out. And she says neighbors she had NEVER MET restored her faith in humanity. The next generation isn’t lost, folks. Some of them are paddling into floodwater when no one else can come. GOD BLESS Jonah and Lucas Marshall, and GOD BLESS the mama who raised them. THIS IS THE AMERICA I KNOW!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
