white comedians and their very 1 dimensional takes on michael
John Mulaney says Michael Jackson wasn’t the only person who grew up without a childhood, because nobody born before 1910 had one perhaps not unique
John: “People always go, ‘Oh, poor Michael Jackson, he had no childhood.’ But you know who else didn’t? Anyone born before 1910.”
“And they didn’t marry children with a giraffe as a witness.”
Conan: “We now know why John was not asked to give the eulogy at Michael Jackson’s funeral.”
John: “I had a nice version. I was perfectly willing to call an audible and switch it on the fly.”

I want this white woman to stop talking about MJ and Prince talking down on them because they died and she didn’t. You aren’t better than anybody because you didn’t struggle with addiction. You aren’t better than anybody because you didn’t walk the walk they had to as black men
Can she shut up
Madonna explains the real reason legends like Michael Jackson, Prince, and Jean-Michel Basquiat burned out.
“When you channel artistic ideas and you have creative visions, it’s magic. And when you overthink it or you start thinking about how much of that you own, you stop it. A lot of people have these meteoric careers and they rise up and take the world by storm… and then something happens and they can’t handle the light. In a way, they fly too close to the light and it burns them.
I would say that’s really true about many of my peers… whether that’s Prince or Michael Jackson or Jean-Michel Basquiat. These are people who were channeling, but I don’t think they understood that there has to be some kind of restriction. People like to take drugs because they’re actually channeling light… but it’s light with no restriction. And then that’s what kills you or burns you out.”
if this happens im getting blackout drunk
