Painter, mainly oils. Landscape being predominant at this time. Ideas are conceived while out hiking and distilled once back in my studio.

Not been on twitter for ages! This is far as I can go with this one today. It’s an oil and approximately 48x48cm
One of several recent works, pushing my palette to its essence of memorable colours in my minds eye while out hiking

An array of small paintings which I made during lockdown, part of my Stolen Time series. A few have already flown out the door - very happy about this! #artinlockdown #smallpaintings #richardheys #sussex #artist #artistatwork #lockdown

Experimenting with collaged elements. Always a fascinating process for sparking new ideas and directions. #abstractart #collage #collageart #abstractexpressionism #contemporaryart #artists #creativeprocess
‘Dual Aspect’ oil on board
Incidentally was framed amazingly by Robel and is kinda relevant with couples being joined in isolation?
It’s actually still for sale over at the Golden Sheath Gallery, Narbeth
I’m sure if it resonated with you and you got in touch with them?
