The only problem they have now is that Chamisa is no longer that popular. Chiwenga is now the most popular politician in Zimbabwe simpleπ§π§π§
Someone who insulted General Mkhwanazi spent a day in prison and today is under strict bail conditions. He has now apologised but the damage has been done. I defend the right to free speech but insulting public officials for doing their public duties should be a punishable offence. β at Hillcrest, South Africa

This is a Zimbabwean Minister β @TateMavetera someone our children look up to β reportedly using Diprosone, a prohibited skin-lightening cream, to alter the beautiful complexion God gave her. What message does this send to our girls? That dark skin is something to be ashamed of? That success means becoming lighter? That your natural self is not enough?
We do not need leaders who reject their own identity. We need people who teach our generation: love the skin youβre in. Your melanin is your power. Your natural beauty is your greatest pride. If those in positions of power are ashamed of who they are how do we expect our children to stand tall?
True leadership means setting the example β not erasing yourself. Be proud of who you are. Be proud of your skin. Be proud to be Zimbabwean

Close to perfect analysis from a fellow woman. I just see a despicable EDIOT masquerading as a Sinister(because she is!). I meam a Zimbabwean non-ICT minister. She has done enough damage to my profession. End

Our demonstration on the 1st of December 2026 in Harare will mark the beginning of a new era for the people of Zimbabwe. It is meant to restore the long-lost power that citizens rightfully deserve. Government officials are not gods they must always be held accountable and answer to the electorate.
The demonstrations will spread nationwide once momentum builds. We are not seeking to fight the government for the sake of fighting. We are seeking justice. We are fighting against corruption, incompetence, and everything that reduces the people of Zimbabwe to animals.
Demolitions have been going on since 1992, and by now the government should have found a solution to this problem. Who are these land barons, and why are they not being arrested? People continue to lose money to city councils and bogus land sellers, yet no one is willing to protect the citizens. This cannot go on while we, the young people of Zimbabwe, simply watch from the sidelines.
Furthermore, we have incompetent councils nationwide. Sewage everywhere has become normal. Drilling boreholes in towns is now something people boast about, yet citizens are still being charged and many continue to pay their taxes. There is no transparency in anything happening in our country. Officials have been getting away with it for far too long. Many times I have watched the Mayor of Harare speaking with so much arrogance and no shame at all, while the state of Harare keeps deteriorating. All of this is happening because people had given up and kept quiet when the people they elected began to act like gods.
We will do everything we can to raise awareness among citizens nationwide so they understand what it truly means to be Zimbabwean and what they deserve. If there is no money to fix everything that needs to be fixed, then everything should be transparent so that all can see that councils are failing because of insufficient funding. We will track every cent that has ever been collected and demand clear information on what it was used for. Incompetent people must be fired, and thieves must be arrested.
This will not be a political thing. Whether you are ZANU-PF, CCC, or MDC, we are all affected by everything that is going wrong in our country. We must learn to set aside our political affiliations when it comes to service delivery and demand competence, good governance, and a zero-corruption state as a collective. I have set the 1st of December date so we can plan properly, gather every piece of information we can especially on people affected by demolitions identify the land barons, and present something meaningful to the relevant ministries and government departments as we move forward in seeking justice for those affected.

Beauty with brains & purpose. They canβt dim your light, they canβt quieten your mind, you are the force that commands the room and changes the world.
On 1 December 2026, I will personally lead a peaceful demonstration in Harare. We will seek to meet the Minister of Local Government and Public Works, Daniel Garwe, and the Mayor of Harare, Jacob Mafume, to express our strong displeasure with the ongoing property demolitions in Harare and across the country.
We will also use this opportunity to highlight other serious concerns affecting Harare residents. I have chosen this date deliberately to allow sufficient time for proper inquiries and to present clear, tangible demands to the relevant ministries and departments.
I am taking this step as a citizen of Zimbabwe and as a young person. Watching people lose their homes and property, and seeing vendors treated inhumanely when better solutions are possible, is what compelled me to act.
We have seen far more demolitions than serious efforts to arrest land barons. There has been little effort to educate citizens against buying land from land barons, little progress in reforming the laws that fuel this problem, and almost no effort to make it easier for ordinary Zimbabweans to acquire land and build houses legally. It is already clear that people are willing to build their own homes and are not waiting for government even though providing shelter remains a core responsibility of the state.
Vending is a direct result of a collapsed economy. Instead of harassing, beating, destroying the goods of, or arresting vendors, government must develop initiatives, laws, and by-laws that support this sector. Vendors contribute significantly to the national fiscus and should be supported, not punished, especially when no alternative solutions are offered.
All we are saying is simple: if a government cannot take care of its own citizens, then what is it there for? What purpose does it serve? A black-led government should not torment its own people to the point that they begin to miss Rhodesia.

This is how stupid Tatenda Mavetera is. I say no more.
Responding to a question from President of the Senate Hon. Mabel Chinomona during the ICT session, Hon. Tatenda Mavetera said Zimbabwe's high data costs are largely driven by energy and connectivity expenses, highlighting Government measures to reduce sector fees and support interventions aimed at lowering data costs.
