We outsourced our children's education to schools.
Our children's daytime care to daycares.
Our aging parents to facilities.
Dinner to delivery apps.
Then we called ourselves too busy to raise a family.

Have you every thought about why?

What if homeschooling gave your family back time together that feels rushed or lost in a traditional school schedule? Many families are choosing a Christian homeschool curriculum to create a slower, more connected home life where learning happens alongside conversation, relationships, and shared experiences. SchoolhouseTeachers.com offers hundreds of courses for PK–12 grade in a parent-led format designed to support the entire family, helping parents build a more intentional, flexible approach to education while strengthening family connection. If you know someone who is longing for more time with her children, this may be a helpful resource to share with her.

Some Rhode Island folks pushing a dangerous bill:
Parents must PROVE their innocence & “competency” to homeschool their own children, or gov’t schools can block it if they decide it’s “not in the best interest of the child.”
Parental rights are not up for debate.

"As the US Supreme Court has affirmed, a state cannot treat every parent as a potential threat simply because some parents do wrong. That presumption of suspicion — applied universally, before any evidence of harm — is, in the court’s own word, ‘repugnant’ to American tradition." - HSLDA President James R. Mason

H.B. 5468 has passed the Connecticut General Assembly, but there is still time to prevent it from becoming law.
The homeschool bill is expected to be sent to Governor Ned Lamont for his consideration. Once it reaches his desk, he can reject this harmful proposal by vetoing it. But we need to make sure he hears from Connecticut families now.
Please contact Governor Lamont today and urge him to veto H.B. 5468.
