I feel like I would really be helped by any information at all about what Besh has done as an individual to try to make amends and improve his behavior, and what policies BRG has instituted to prevent future abuses nola.com/entertainment_life/…

Maybe Biden would have a better chance if we nominated him as a comedy

As if the end of the legislative session wasn't weird enough, we have a huge, inflatable colon in the state Capitol rotunda today. It's raising awareness about colon cancer. #lalege #lagov

Great to see @tristanbaurick staying on the environmental beat in Louisiana. A terrific addition to @veritenewsnola.
We're thrilled that Tristan has joined the team! As local news readers know, he has done exceptional work on the environment beat. And we can't wait to see what he'll do next. Welcome aboard, Tristan!

"Not the odds, but the stakes." That's been my shorthand for the principle that could most improve election coverage in 2024. Not "who's going to win?" but the consequences for our democracy. Not the odds but the stakes. Today something happened with this idea. THREAD. 1/

I guess I should hang out this shingle: if you’re a national magazine editor and are interested in a feature about the past present & future of saltwater wedges, with notes from the city during the soon-to-come water outage, I’m happy to provide

You see, Carl, you move the keywords up into the first paragraph and it's more likely to be picked up by Google. It's called SEO.

I was surprised to see so many food people go crazy for a show who's message was "fine dining can save your soul."
Finished The Bear season 2 last night - where are people at on the show? Details are at times ridiculous, it’s a TV show after all, but the dynamics and drama and emotion? I enjoyed it.

A little stunned to see our team's package on Black farmers in the South, "Uneven Ground," nominated for a Beard. Great work from everyone and thanks again to all the farmers who shared their stories with us.
