It's fun and cool and hip to throw shade at professional athletes and say they are "terrible" and "awful" and to revel in their failures but the truth is they are all better at their jobs than most of us will ever be at anything in life so, you know, keep that in mind.
The Packers have had some rough penalties go against them, but they've also played a deeply stupid game.
Over the past five years or so, the Detroit Lions surely lead the NFL in "this game is drunk" contests. Very much including today's game.
“Wanted to stay” on their BS terms. Screw Willard and screw Nova.
Kevin Willard unplugged on Villanova exiting the Big 5 series 😳
"Unfortunately, it really wasn't a Villanova decision. Either you wrote a really poor article, or people can't read your article. But we wanted it. We thought we had a deal. I think you need to talk to the Temple AD and get your stories right. Because this was not a Villanova thing... Either people are illiterate, which I don't think they are, or you're just a bad writer."
"We wanted to be in it, we did everything to do it. Talk to Temple. Talk to those guys. It wasn't Villanova."

VJ Edgecombe is just so, so awesome. Incredible athleticism, mature and basketball savvy beyond his years, does all the little things the team needs and has an absolutely elite ceiling. Baller.
Fuck this lazy shit

Refs did everything in their power to help the Cowboys get in the end zone there and the Cowboys just refused to capitalize. God bless them, they stink.
The true NFC East winner this season will be the Wild Card team lucky enough to draw whichever team comes out of this haggard division.
Street Fighter's a weird one. Like it's bad, but doesn't take itself too seriously and is eye candy. At points it's genuinely hard to watch and some of the performances are embarrassingly cringe. But then a cool/funny thing happens. I get why critics pan it and audiences are down
This is not hyperbole: The Eagles have the worst offensive scheme in the NFL by a fairly wide margin. I’m not expecting them to look great given all the injuries but this is downright pathetic, and has been for weeks.
The most dangerous job on the planet currently is being a Philadelphia Eagle. You WILL suffer injury.
Both the Rams and Jaguars did everything in their power to give the Eagles wins and the Birds just refused to accept the gift.

Since 2013, across all the various Eagles QBs and their Total QBR...
With Lane Johnson on the field: 62.5 (3rd-best in NFL)
Without Lane Johnson on the field: 46.8 (29th)
Lane Johnson is a first-ballot Hall of Famer. A Philly legend. Should never pay for a drink in the city again. An abrupt ending to his career, but so much of the team’s success over the past decade is down to him.
BAL was 13-4, played in AFC Championship Game before SEA hired Macdonald.
DET was 15-2 before Johnson was hired in CHI.
TB was 10-7, won fourth straight NFC South title before Coen was hired in JAX.
PHI just won the Super Bowl.
LAC was 11-6 last year.
Does it make sense now?
