#BCALHelp Is there a way to configure VS Code so that it automatically collapses empty brackets to a single line (i.e., go from lines 14-16 to line 11)?

#BCALHelp Has anyone ever seen blank system fields on a record outside of the system ID? Would a configuration package do this?

The other pattern you can find in the development of Microsoft is to use the ReadPermission check. E.g. github.com/microsoft/ALAppEx…

#BCALHelp How do I deploy an extension with a custom permission set without causing disruption to end users in a production environment? My extension hooks into a common task and immediately checks a custom setup table for data. Without the permissions, they get an error.

I already have it set up to immediately call a Try function in the subscription, but the Try function doesn't catch permission errors.

My other idea was to add a global "Enabled" flag on the custom setup table, but in order to see that, they would need permissions to check if the flag was enabled! Perhaps I could add a global "Enabled" flag to Gen. Led. Setup since most users already have read access to that?

#BCALHelp Is anyone else seeing slow deployments of DEV extensions to sandbox environments? We have 2 tenants where it's taking 5+ minutes to deploy relatively simple extensions.

#BCALHelp Currently getting this when trying to upload any extension in any tenant as a PTE. Anyone else getting something like this? Deploy Operation rejected. Error: Value cannot be null. (Parameter 'adminServiceFacade');

When you're out of office and a coworker is about to send you an email and sees that you're out of office, what do you want them to do? Include you so you can get back to it when you return, or remove you so you don't get the notification while out?

Personally: I'd rather they include me on the email. It lets me easily catch up when I return. However, I do have good discipline when it comes to checking email on vacation (which I know not everyone has).

Is there a way to use the UI to add new table mappings to push data to #Dataverse from #MSDYN365BC without needing to write code for each table? Seems like a big requirement for further #PowerPlatform integration. @1ShannonMullin1

Does anyone have first-hand experience with the Shopify connector in #MSDYN365BC? How was your experience? Would you recommend it? I have a client interested in an ecommerce integration and am hesitant to point them towards an untested solution.
