This is nice to see... just parking the combine for the winter.
Gonna give it time out for a 10 months and see if it changes its tune.
Stupid technology 🙄
Like, what does this even mean?
The display is currently reading a believable engine temp.🤦♂️
I guess its time.. was hoping to hold off dropping $120 a disk... but, here we are.
Just changing the back row because im a cheap Ukranian.
Was starting to plug up, I guess there wasn't enough notch left to keep them spinning🫤🤷♂️
So.. I tried to power something i shouldn't have with this little 12v battery socket for my heated hoodie.... didn't realize how complex it was inside with the fkn pcb inside it.
Anyway, blew a current protection chip..did the right thing and soldered a copper jumper over it.🫡
How to build a smart oil drain plug to save money👌
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Video shows drilling into an oil pan to install a standard ball valve as a drain plug. Drilling introduces metal shavings into the engine. Standard ball valves are not designed for hot engine oil or the conditions under a vehicle. Specialized oil drain valves are available. mechanics.stackexchange.com/questions/9195… powerstroke.org/threads/oil-pa… jalopnik.com/1845904/quick-…

Pretty cool. Jim Kennedy used to have setups like this on his Cases. 930-1070, etc
I much prefer diesel engines.. cuz this is the kinda dude thats fixing your carbonated engines.😉🍻
Replying to @TSmith1867 @ren_withrow
Such a fucking boomer bitch take
Motherfucker I actually grew up working on cars both carbonated and early forms of efi back
So just fuck off.
The illumination of that indicator suggests a manufacturer-initiated request for additional service fees to maintain full operational access to the vehicle.
Quite simple, really 🤷♂️
Remember when changing an engine oil filter was stuuupidly easy?
Spin off, spin on. 10 seconds.
Now, we got plastic housings, complicated and unnecessary draining valves, buddy's is smashing paper in his socket🥴
And everyone is mad at Deere for making service complicated...🙄

FUN FACT:
When is a 1970 Shelby actually not a 1970 Shelby?
All 1970 Shelbys were "restamped VIN" unsold 1969 models. This is the only time the FBI oversaw a re VIN procedure. Ford added twin hood stripes, front spoiler (shipped in the trunk) updated the distributors & carburetors to meet new 1970 EPA standards.
Little known FACT:
Ford had to rush and complete the modifications before Jan 1 1970, as ALL new cars built after Jan 1 had to have a locking ignition switch built into the steering column. All 1970 Shelbys have the "in dash" 1969 design.
