Today, 25 years later, we pause to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
The Freedom From Terrorism Memorial on our main campus stands as a lasting tribute to those we lost that day, to the Aggies who have since made the ultimate sacrifice and to those who continue to serve and protect our nation.
We will #NeverForget.

The @TTITAMU is helping Texas save nearly $3 million by "recycling" roads.
Working with @TxDOT, TTI put a technique called cold in-place recycling to work: grinding up worn asphalt, mixing it with a stabilizing agent, and laying it back down the same day as a durable new base.
By reusing the old pavement right where it sits, the approach cuts material costs, moves at more than a lane-mile a day, and reduces the need for new raw materials.

ALT A person operates heavy machinery as part of a road construction crew. The scene shows a stretch of highway being paved, with another machine working in the background. The worker is wearing protective gear, including a helmet and reflective clothing. Orange traffic cones line the road. The sky is cloudy.
