Our Government must do more than issue yet more hollow statements if it is to help prevent what would be an unimaginable bloodbath in Rafah.
It must act. Starting by ending arms sales to Israel.
These arms sales mean our Government is directly complicit in Israel's war crimes.

Proud to speak on the right to strike at @TUCYorksHumber - Labour need to bin the MSL legislation when they win. But additionally they need to find enough money to fund local councils, public services and to put in our pay packets so we don’t need to strike!

Proud to address @TUCYorksHumber Conference today.
I reflected on the 40th anniversary of the miners’ strike, the 15th anniversary of the 3-month Leeds bin strike and today’s fights against Tory anti-trade union laws, austerity and for a new deal for working people.
Solidarity!

Leeds Trades Union council sends solidarity to the Students Occupying the University of Leeds Parkinson Building
We understand that the students are now being locked in and threatened by university management. We call on University of Leeds senior managers to respect the democratic rights of their students and make it clear they will not face any sanctions because of their occupation.
