I'd hoped we'd seen the end of this sort of missive using populist no nonsense language. It lacks the kind of nuance one might have hoped would indicate a more considered, collaborative and brand ranging approach to addressing a complex issue.
Children will only benefit from our drive for high & rising standards if they are in school. That's why tackling the national epidemic of absence is non-negotiable.
Labour is gripping this generational challenge and today, we begin to turn the tide.

Ah. Attendance as a competition.
Strategic nettle not yet grasped.
Improving attendance is my top priority.
So I’m pleased our plan is working 👇
📈375k more pupils in school nearly every day last year
🏴 Children in school 8 days more than Welsh children & 4.5 days more than Scottish children last year

Delighted to have been invited to deliver a keynote at the @engageitf 2024 National Conference. Really looking forward to being part of what I know from prior experience will be a productive, purposeful and practical conference. #semh #adhd #autism #Neurodiversity #SEND

The DfE Wellbeing Charter was launched in 2021. A report summarising the progress of said charter, indicates 3,000 schools and colleges have signed up. As there are over 24k schools in England quoting the charter as a strategy to improve morale really is scraping the barrel.
Question on what the government is doing to improve the morale of teachers and school support staff. @DamianHinds says DfE has co-created wellbeing charter and has introduced wellbeing support for leaders #eduQs
I'm conducting research into the workplace experiences of ADHDers/People with ADHD for my M. Sc.
If anyone in my network is interested in participating or could share the project information I'd massively appreciate it.

Wonderful to attend the opening of the Autism Wellbeing Hub @UniofReading tonight. Congratulations to all involved in driving this neurodiversity affirming initiative. Fantastic evening capped off by finally meeting @MsJoBillington. Wishing you all every possible success.
Very much looking forward to attending the launch of this project tomorrow. Discussing it this morning over breakfast when my son, somewhat engaged in the conversation, remarked "An Autism Wellbeing PUB, that sounds interesting!" 🙃
Thrilled to announce the launch of my new project - the Centre for Autism Wellbeing Hub. Please join us in person or online on the 9th November at 7pm to hear more about it and see how you can be involved in shaping what we do. Booking details below:

Tremendous initiative underway in Reading. Rates of employment for autistic people are shameful. Estimates suggest that only 16% of autistic people are in full time employment. #Neurodiversity #Equality #Inclusion #Diversity @LHGBrewingco @VerdantBrew could you give this a push?
Hey everyone, our crowdfunder has just gone live! Go check it out, and support us if you can

Essential that neurodivergent (ND) SLTs are given the chance to thrive in the workplace. Research indicates the strength of therapist client relationships supports the efficacy of any therapeutic intervention. For NDs accessing SLT, access to ND therapists is crucial...1/2

An extraordinary degree of delusion.
In Bristol children and young people have no access to mental health support for over two years unless suicidal.
Hard to see why anyone can pat themselves on the back when that is the reality.
A friend had his last day at work. After 13 years dedicated service he was given a box of biscuits.
Told him to nibble a couple and return the 'gift' with a note saying: I can't accept this gift as like the way you run your business these are stale, uninspiring and thoughtless.
It's hard to know whether to laugh or cry!
With a plethora of issues facing education, all of which could be easily identified by education professionals and parents and carers, we're given STOP THE PHONES. Patronising and indicative of a lack of strategy. tes.com/magazine/news/genera…
This is superb. A literal example of #FlipTheNarrative @elly_chapple. I suspect this will appeal to you @AspieDeLaZouch
I'll be returning to this on many an occasion without doubt.

You can try to motivate employees with slogans and bonuses. But companies can’t achieve true excellence if their employees don’t know why they are coming to work every day. hbr.org/2019/11/why-are-we-h…
An excellent webinar 'Bullying in the Workplace: Where are we now and where do we want to be?' Thank you @occpsychuk - a great balance of research and practical application. Great input from presenters and participants.
2nd read through of @pauldixtweets latest book.
Now well thumbed and scribbled on.
'Calm Down'.
No other two words have ever been used with the result being the exact opposite of what they are intended to achieve more consistently than these two!
