Forty years. Today, the individual responsible for supplying the illicit fentanyl that killed Matthew Wright was sentenced to 40 years in prison. Nothing about today changes the fact that Matthew should be here. A son was lost. A family was forever changed.

When one mama bear meets another our hearts just connect. Was such a pleasure meeting you, you’re a true gem! And I love Tucker in this pic, thank for suggesting that. ♥️
Last night, I had the honor of meeting Stefanie Roe, a fierce mama bear who turned unimaginable tragedy into a powerful mission after losing her 19-year-old son, Tucker, to fentanyl poisoning from a laced pill. She fought tirelessly and successfully passed Tucker’s Law (HB 3908) in Texas, which requires research-based education on fentanyl dangers, abuse prevention, overdose risks, and suicide awareness in public schools for grades 6-12—plus an annual Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness Week. Now, the next critical step is securing dedicated funding to fully implement and sustain this life-saving education in every Texas public school for grades 6-12. No school should lack the resources to teach our kids about this deadly threat. Not one more life lost to fentanyl! 💔 Let’s protect our children together. #TuckersLaw #FentanylAwareness #MamaBear #TexasStrong #NoMoreLivesLost #EndFentanyl @TXAFawareness

What an incredible night!
Thank you Stefanie Roe, President of @TXAFawareness, for joining the Texas Republican Attorney General debate. No parent should ever have to go through losing their child to fentanyl. Republican AGs are fighting to stop the evils of fentanyl.

Great night representing TXAF and our continued fight to save lives across Texas and our nation. We need a strong AG who will ensure opioid settlement funds reach the front lines and push the Texas Comptroller to provide the resources! Lives depend on it. #fentanylcrisis

BREAKING: President Trump just declared FENTANYL a WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION. This critical step unleashes every tool to combat the cartels & foreign networks responsible for flooding communities with this deadly substance—the leading cause of death among Americans aged 18-45.

AOC called Charlie Kirk’s rhetoric ignorant, while making an ignorant statement. She also misrepresented what Charlie said about the Civil Rights Act. We can’t keep doing this - it’s putting people in danger.
We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was: a man who believed that the Civil Rights Act that granted Black Americans the right to vote was a “mistake,” who after the violent attack on Paul Pelosi claimed that “some amazing patriot out there” should bail out his assailant, and accused Jews of controlling “not just the colleges – it’s the nonprofits, it’s the movies, it’s Hollywood, it’s all of it.” His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans – far from “working tirelessly to promote unity” as asserted by the majority in this resolution.” We can condemn his horrific assassination and the scourge of political violence without uplifting these ideas.
