Greg Abbott talks a big game about helping students and parents. But after four special sessions, he’s given our schools $0. This has never been about helping kids β€” it’s always been about destroying public education.

Greg Abbott is trying to defund our schools with a private school voucher scam. Not on our watch. Today I joined my colleagues to introduce the Fully Fund our Future Act which will invest in ALL students and give every teacher a $15,000 raise. #txlege

Greg Abbott and his billionaire mega-donors know private school vouchers are unpopular in Texas. So they’ve paid for a bunch of poll-tested slogans to sell their scam. Here’s how to debunk each slogan in 1 minute… #txlege

Greg Abbott's voucher scam would divert taxpayer dollars out of public schools and into private schools. But private schools aren't accountable to taxpayersβ€”no transparency, no oversight, no standards. Watch how they struggle to answer my basic questions about accountability…

Our children are hard-wired for #empathy, but it must be nurtured or it lies dormant. Being more intentional about weaving empathy into our daily #parenting & we’ll be more likely to raise a #resilient generation. #parenting

I’ve been awed in reviewing student response letters. Students crafted unique correspondence to a real person or fictional character about the importance of theme from book club. New @bulbapp updates engaging too @spartan_speak #katyisdela
