ICE is useless if the President can just let in known criminals, like Bolsonaro, who came on a private jet and red carpet, into the United States and refuse to deport them.

We just learned more about Trump’s Venezuela oil deal, and here’s everything you need to know: 1. This deal is structured to hide the identities of people who stand to profit from it. You don’t hide that unless you have a reason to. And the man whose firm Trump just bought a 35% stake in? Alejandro Betancourt, a Venezuelan billionaire who has faced several money-laundering investigations around the world. 2. Don’t expect cheaper gas anytime soon. Experts have been telling us for MONTHS that oil production in Venezuela isn’t going to lower U.S. gas prices anytime soon. Betancourt’s company is able to deliver as much oil in a year as the U.S. uses in a few days. Anyone promising this deal will bring down prices at the pump is selling you lies. 3. If there’s a legal fight over this agreement, it has to go through a Texas court that Trump’s DOJ has repeatedly turned to for favorable rulings. 4. This deal creates a board designed to be shielded from oversight and accountability. Trump’s own Treasury Secretary wasn’t able to give Congress basic answers or audits when he testified about Venezuela just last month. But we should blindly trust them now? So let’s recap: Americans aren’t going to feel relief at the pump. The identity of the people involved is conveniently hidden from us. And legal disputes go to a specific court that disproportionately rules in Trump’s favor. Whatever you think American foreign policy towards Venezuela should be, Congress and the public deserve to know who’s involved and where the money is going. propublica.org/article/trump…

Republicans are against "men in women's sports." Democrats are against dictators, Nazis, kings, pedophiles, corruption, crazy gas prices, needless wars, lawlessness, nepotism, kissing Putin's ass, looting the working class, burning books and the constitution. Choose your side.

She could end tariffs on ranchers' equipment, end the Iran war driving up diesel, give ranchers their healthcare back, reverse Trump's $2B cut to EQIP, etc—but CHS opposes every option to lower ranchers' input costs, so she just wants high farm costs to pass to consumers instead.
Damn, she's doubling down on pick another a protein? I'm gonna double down on picking another senator! #MississippiMatters

BREAKING: MIC DROP! Senator Mark Kelly delivers the best takedown of Trump's failed Iran War that we've ever heard — just in time for the midterm elections! This is an absolute slam dunk... "We had a President take this country to war without a strategic goal, without a plan, without a timeline, and without an exit strategy. And now he's stuck. He doesn't know what to do," Kelly said, while campaigning for Senate candidate Troy Jackson in Maine. "I sit on the Armed Services and the Intelligence Committees, both of them. And I will say, from what I know about this, the Iranians weren't any closer to developing a nuclear weapon this year than they were when I first got to the United States Senate in 2020," said Kelly. "And it's this President who, by the way, tore up the deal in 2018 that started them to enrich the uranium at a higher level." "So if you think there was a problem, this President created the problem!" he continued. "But he didn't need to go to war and put Americans in harm's way. We have now 20 deceased service members. Over 800 injured." By now, most discerning people have come to realize that this war was never about nuclear weapons. Trump launched this war because Israel convinced him that he could win a quick, splashy victory and Israel wanted this war because they want to destroy a regional adversary. American interests were never at stake. "And what did the American people get out of this?" asked Kelly. "They got nothing. They got higher gas prices. They got higher food prices." "We've got service members deployed for record numbers of days on the USS Abraham Lincoln. And I understand going on cruise can be hard. It's challenging," he went on. "But really, they had eight service members who tried to commit suicide because of the conditions aboard the ship. And I've got to tell you, the worst thing about that, by far, for me, was to see the Secretary of Defense go straight to camera and say, there's no problem, and we give commanders everything they need. That is not leadership." "Leadership has taken some responsibility for whatever the situation is," added Kelly. "And by the way, how hard would it have been for him to say, hey, I recognize there's a problem. We're going to look into the problem, and we're going to make things better for these service members because they deserve that. It's not hard to do. This Secretary of Defense was incapable of doing that." Kelly is right to lay the blame for this disastrous war as much at Hegseth's feet as Trump's. Our booze-breathed, Fox News-fried "Secretary of War" is more interested in posturing as a tough alpha male than he is in actually leading our troops. These midterm elections are, among other things, a referendum on this war. If you're sick of wasting blood and treasure on endless wars, vote blue! Please ❤️ and share if you think that Mark Kelly nailed it!

Shouldn’t ICE be shoving them to the ground, waving guns in their faces, cuffing them, and deporting them to El Salvador?
Defeated Brazilian presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro and his family have landed in Miami after fleeing his country. This comes a day after they were granted United States visas by the Trump administration.

Hi Todd, 1) It is not illegal to encourage someone to run for office. 2) The Alaska Supreme Court already upheld that both Dan’s were NOT confusing. 3) Your butthurt feelings don’t change the law. Signed, Someone who actually bothers to read the law.
CAIN on Alaska: Is it illegal? BLANCHE: It certainly should be and that's why we're having an investigation.

The 9th Circuit ruled that Trump violated federal law by seizing control of the California National Guard, writing that his order “exceeded the President’s statutory authority." That's good news. We filed amicus brief in the case making similar points. nytimes.com/2026/10/24/us/ru…

We just want to make sure you saw this stat from earlier this week: Elon Musk has spent more money on American elections in the last two years than George Soros has in his entire life. Just remember that when the right-wing tries to pretend like George Soros is running the world. #EndCitizensUnited
