One of the nicest guys in football but I sometimes forget he plays for us.
🇮🇹👀 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢 - @ptgorst: Federico Chiesa could be in line for his first start of the campaign against Chelsea.

My #37 Harry Kane jersey from 2012 is going to be so great when he wins the Ballon d'Or
I hadn't realised this. United hoping for the new Manager bounce before playing us after international break.
These United legends don't have much of a clue. It really doesn't seem to help much playing the game at a top professional level when it comes to football opinions. No wonder United are still in a mess when pretty much all their ex-players have views like these.

😂 He had no idea Michael Owen had actually won the Ballon d’Or
Owen was not amused and quickly reminds him.
“What was your best standing in Ballon d’Or when you were active?”
Owen looking like the man just slagged his kids off: “Well… I won it in 2001.” 😭
Come on man, do your homework!
It was very good that the players didn't know if they won going into it, unlike prior times where players didn't even attend when they weren't winning. Vinicius especially the lowest case where his strop meant no Madrid players went even when they were in the 'team of the year'.

This is an excellent reminder of how big a factor Ferguson's greed was in destroying Manchester United.

HARRY KANE IS THE NEW BALLON D'OR!
#ballondor
Liverpool never did marketing campaigns or outreach programmes to help their players in Balon d'Or voting like other clubs do. This made a difference, especially for Virgil who was only a few votes short of Messi.
Kane is a v worthy winner. Glad it wasn't the stupid false rule of it had to come from whoever won a Champions League or World Cup (which are team honours). Kane got to semis in both CL & WC anyway. He's been top level world class for a long time. Mbappe also would've been worthy
Brilliant though he is I personally think either Kane or Mbappe should win, not Yamal (brilliant though he is, he'll win in the future anyways).
He's still imperious in possession and dominant in duels though many times when he advanced and was out of position was v slow to get back or taking up cover positions. It cost us in a number of attacks because he didn't sprint back or across and seemed to be managing his energy.
