Building txflow

Joined August 2021
Seen a few posts claiming TXFlow is a Hyperliquid fork. Here’s exactly what we did and didn’t do: Bridge(10%): Yes. We use Hyperliquid’s bridge contract. It’s held billions in user funds and has been battle-tested in production for years. We weren’t going to re-invent custody code when a proven contract already exists. API(3%): Yes, by design. Our API mirrors Hyperliquid’s so builders already integrated there can plug into TXFlow with minimal changes. That’s a compatibility decision, not a copy of their system. Core(80%): No. Hyperliquid’s consensus and matching engine are closed-source. There is nothing to fork. Our consensus layer and trading engine are built in-house from the ground up. Happy to go deeper on any of this.

Season 0 points are in. 10,769,544 points have been distributed to recognize TxFlow users who contributed before Season 1 began. Thank you to everyone who believed in TxFlow from the early days and helped build it into what it is today.

TxFlow protocol vault makes liquidity provision accessible to users without requiring them to run their own market-making strategies. Here’s a closer look at how it works.

perp dex competition is brutal right now. the only way through is a good product and real users. inflated activity can look great for a few weeks, but it means nothing long term. we’re building for people who trade here for real. gFlow

UPDATE: Our priority stays the same: rewarding real trading fairly. We shared the rules early to hear from you, and we're making focused updates that support that goal. Here are the main updates and clarifications addressing key questions: · Updated pool allocation with more emphasis on traders. · A clearer statement to make weekly points estimates and the existing mechanics easier to understand. · Season 0 distribution is planned before October 27. Ongoing checks help identify farming and keep rewards fair for real traders. Read the updated rules: docs.txflow.com/points/how-p… Thank you for your thoughtful feedback and for helping shape TxFlow's Points Program.

A few notes from the engineering side on TxFlow Points S1. How scoring works - Points are scored across several dimensions, not volume alone. - Maker and taker fills both count. Unfilled orders don't. - Each week's pool is fixed, so inflated activity only dilutes everyone else. How integrity works - Detection is automated, with manual review on top. - Wallets we determine are linked may be treated as one user. - We assess behaviour, not labels. - Hedging is legitimate trading and is treated that way. What we won't publish The signals and weights stay private. Keeping them closed is how the system stays fair TxFlow is built to reward real traders. Full rules: docs.txflow.com/points/how-p…

Replying to @TxFlow_L1
@TxFlow_L1 was hit by a ddos today from ~13:46 to 13:56 utc, during the post-cpi session. some of you couldn't reach the app for 5 to 10 minutes. the chain and matching engine stayed up; this was the api / frontend layer being flooded. the attack pattern was new to us. it's mitigated, and the team is hardening against it now. we're reviewing the logs. any losses caused by our side, we compensate. if you had a position affected during that window, dm me or open a ticket in discord.

cex wars were brutal. ftx was on top and still ended in tragedy. dex wars haven’t really started yet. hyperliquid is the standard for this space and it’s still nowhere near what binance is to cex. a lot of perp dex teams are still running last cycle’s playbook. tge, then get listed on binance, then call it a win. that playbook is about to break. binance, robinhood, solana, even kalshi will all compete directly with perp dexes. the end state is one platform where you trade everything. if you’re picking a perp dex on last cycle’s criteria instead of who survives that endgame, you’re going to be wrong. it’s a hard road. but @TxFlow_L1 is built for that endgame, not for a token event. that’s why i’m confident where it ends up.

from the eng side: we surveyed the perp dex landscape before writing a line of txflow. hyperliquid set the highest bar and the hardest one to build toward, so that’s what we aimed at. the architecture and security model have been converging on that target since day one. we’re not there yet. but every design decision has been pointed at it, and that’s the part we’re confident about.
appreciate the confidence. we’re not focused on flipping anyone, just shipping what we said we’d ship. the bar we measure ourselves against is hyperliquid, that’s the standard for this space.
