The CEO of @_kaitoai ( @Punk9277 ) has spoken publicly on the @KevinWSHPod podcast, where he discussed Kaito's future, his vision for crypto, and how YAPS work. I’ve taken the liberty of summarizing the 30 key points from the interview: 1. NFTs will make a comeback. Kaito wants to reward OG users with Kaito Genesis. They believe having an on-chain identity is the best way to reward users. While no specifics were given, they assured NFTs will play a significant role in the future. 2. Europe is not an ideal place to optimize your entrepreneurial or business life. If your goal is to live for and by your business, move to places where there’s pro-crypto growth opportunity. Leverage networking. 3. AI is revolutionizing the investment world. AI-driven trading is a game changer. People don’t realize they’re competing against hyper-intelligent individuals. Thinking you’ll get a 100x without doing anything is a mistake. AI agents will simplify all of this in the future. 4. The next 100x will come from YAPS. 5. I love crypto because trading attracts so many people, and the emotional and social dynamics are deep. Everyone has a fair chance, without an external focus on prior experience. 6. Kaito is a platform and system where information and capital can be distributed more fairly, transparently, and efficiently. Everything we build in the future will focus on these key points. 7. I launched Kaito because I was its primary user and wanted to solve my own problems, such as not relying on Twitter or Google Search for anything I needed. 8. InfoFi, in my view, uses market forces to signal the accuracy of information. 9. Kaito operates across three different spectra. First, information is highly disorganized out there—you can’t tell what’s valuable and what isn’t. Second, it’s AI-driven, using algorithms to identify the best information. Third, YAPS help people understand who’s most influential and creating the most relevant content in ecosystems. 10. The algorithm is powerful at addressing the long-tail problem but isn’t yet its most efficient version. It will be when it uses market forces to determine all the discussed aspects. 11. The biggest mistake people make in this ecosystem is failing to adapt to changes. 12. People want to make decisions based on the opinions of those they identify with. 13. Attention is closely tied to liquidity. 14. To invest, you need to understand social attention. 15. YAPS aim to reward attention creators, incentivizing and compensating their work—something no non-Web3 platform can achieve. 16. More content doesn’t mean better quality. They’re not related. 17. Memes are a very basic form of attention. Attention is the most important currency. Today, fundamentals are your attention, and narratives represent what people are willing to pay for a unit of that attention. 18. A significant issue lies in how project analysis and marketing rely on VCs and KOLs with fake followers. They’re stuck in that game. Projects are desperate, but YAPS solve this by encouraging organic and incentivized content creation. 19. YAPS act as an insurance policy for Kaito Pro. For instance, if X one day restricts access to its data, we can still access user-generated content directly. We don’t think this will happen, but as a company, we value that risk and create alternatives. 20. For us, the most important part of building a token-based business is demand. Without it, YAPS would be useless. 21. Users are rewarded and evaluated based on performance and merit, not on "who they know." 22. Thanks to Kaito’s technology and advancements, it’s possible to conduct an airdrop distributing billions of dollars fairly, only to real users—not mass farmers. 23. For those saying we have the power to manipulate data: we’ll launch a YAPS mechanism based on auctions where Kaito won’t decide which projects get listed on its leaderboard. The market will decide who occupies those spots, efficiently distributing attention. The InfoFi narrative addresses these issues. 24. YAPS are essentially a way to tokenize attention—influence tokenized. YAPS are earned not only by creating original content but also through copy-pasting or shitposting. 25. Kaito’s algorithm for earning YAPS or smart followers may have biases. For example, @VitalikButerin ranks #1 in Kaito’s graph. Not because he has the most followers, but because he’s followed by many socially reputable and influential people within CT. Thus, the algorithm is influenced by the internal circle your profile manages (e.g., influential people following or interacting with your content). 26. Interacting with @elonmusk, for example, could make the algorithm deem your content relevant. However, other factors also contribute to earning YAPS, not just one. 27. Heavily relying on others’ content could result in not earning points. This is dynamic, and the criteria could change tomorrow. The algorithm includes a dynamic evaluation mechanism. 28. For us, YAPS are just an "onboarding" tool—nothing more. It’s not yet a product people can use. YAPS will change that very soon. 29. The only ways to earn YAPS are by referring people and earning points through content creation. We want people to keep doing what they’re doing, unaware of YAPS, and reward everyone as fairly as possible. Some accounts with 200 followers have earned a lot of YAPS because we reward their content. That’s what we aim for. 30. From Hyperliquid’s launch, we learned that a quality product is rewarded by its community and users. We’re following that path. Second, the token distribution method matters. Projects need to understand their relationship with users. We like making point-earning difficult. 31. Kaito’s grand vision is to create a better system and network to distribute attention, capital, and information more effectively, which will influence everything we do. 32.
