Day 10 -- Acorn
Though technically edible, acorns from giant oaks required extensive processing to leach out their bitter and toxic compounds. Instead, they were gathered for the weevil larvae commonly found inside, referred to by locals and no one else as "deep woods lobster."

Pen's the kind of person who would be the first killed in a horror movie just out of sheer inability to take any of it seriously.

ALT A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green are standing side-by-side listening to a third fox, a golden yellow stranger. Stranger: ...And five whole years later, our cleric was found within somebody's vacuum cleaner! As the stranger continues chattering, Green leans subtly towards Blue, whispering to him. Green: Do you have any idea who this is? Blue: I thought you knew! Green: I'm face blind! I have to bluff all the time!

Third installment in the fire elementals series! I like to envision the faction as marauding raiders consuming settlements along their paths.
