ای آنکه ایران را چون معشوقه‌ای نازنین در آغوش گرفتی،

U.S. forces blow up an Iranian-affiliated vessel in the Gulf of Oman after officials say it was conducting surveillance and targeting American Navy warships.
The military says crew members were safely removed before the dhow was destroyed on October 6.
The operation comes as U.S. officials accuse Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of repeatedly targeting commercial mariners and American warships in regional waters over the past seven months.

U.S. officials were already watching for a possible Iranian attack before the security incident near an air base used by American forces in the UK, DHS Sec. Markwayne Mullin says.
"We had been already watching this with our counterparts" in Britain, Mullin says, adding that intelligence was flowing in both directions.
