I didn't start out as an artist on Bitcoin. I started out curious.
⬛ My first collection was Rune Pordals— abstract animations inspired by Runestones and the Runes protocol. I was learning the space, figuring out what it meant to make something permanent on-chain. Then came 🟧Orange Pilled — the moment Bitcoin stopped being interesting and started being essential.
🦋Monarch changed things. A butterfly. Transformation. I didn't plan it — I just needed to inscribe it. That was the moment I realised I wanted to express myself on chain and document my presence here. I was inspired by what other artists were doing on chain. Advancements in inscribing tools gave me the ability to create and inscribe without permission. Pordals followed — 42 pixel compositions documenting Bitcoin history and current events, permanently on-chain.
🕊️During this time a sparrow started visiting my home. I called him Flip. He captivated me to tell his story. Flip became the anchor, the subject of my work and somewhere along the way I realized Flip was a self-portrait. I'm just an artist that converted fiat to Bitcoin, struggle to strength, and confusion to conviction.
Sparrow Studio is that journey. Inscribed on Bitcoin.

Another amazing week in ordinals!
🧡Euphoria is almost done.
The Euphoria collection is a series of 100 color-rich digital works. Stemming from the original landscape, each one is meant to evoke an emotional response. There are 6 animal traits, 2 celestial traits and 18 color variations that explore rarity in traditional style landscape. (plus a special rare trait)
🖼️ The art is all hand drawn using procreate and layered via recursion making the files small to inscribe without losing the quality of the art.
🛡️ I’m going to be honest. I wanted to release it as shielded.
Congrats to the shielded collections and the protocol is amazing.(Holding them all)
-But I’m thinking the art may benefit to have a variety of sats inscribed by the community. Plus the ability to control the mint date is more appealing to me.

I don’t often write at length, but there’s a bit of a full circle moment that only became apparent to me in the past month or so.
The first collection I inscribed on Ordinals was A Bouquet of Intimate Passings. It spoke to finality. Each rose represented a life, an age, and the paint acted as the experience and how well they held up within it. The exact moment each was captured for the series would be the last breath. A reflective series, and a reminder of our pace with death.
I wasn’t sure I’d ever get another collection on Ordinals.
I started work on As The Veil Falls, a series exploring the power of an event to cause great change in one’s life. Perspective altered, and the feeling of never being able to hold innocence again. 32 works under a 4mb parent. Again, I thought it would be my last shot at a big collection.
I kept moving in the studio.
What Remains With You transpired. It speaks to legacy, not the kind you leave behind, but the things you don’t leave behind. Metabolising pain and trauma to clear a slate for the next. Each work was released with a dual physical to complete the concept.
It wasn’t until I was halfway through Born in a Lucid Dream that I realised this was a full circle moment, in quite an organic way. Not in order, but as I came to them, or they came to me.
The pillars of life, as I know it, explored within four series on btc. The chance to inscribe these works on Ordinals is not lost on me. It’s a privilege to have had the support to bring these collections to life, and to take a moment to reflect on where the studio has led me in two years.
I never know what is next. I am at the whim of my own hands, and that is the most vulnerable and most exciting part.
Everything is only in this moment.
I spoke of the ultimate: one from each collection, to create an unforgettable MelzieQ holding. Only two collectors hold it 🌹
