Breaking news: Hospitals are places where you can catch infections. Revolutionary solution incoming: maybe let's actually prevent the spread with N95 respirators? I know. Wild idea.

🔔EXCITING NEWS🔔 Before my time as the executive director was over, I developed a week-long STEM unit for middle schoolers on IAQ. We want to give it away for free to schools everywhere. Please help. ⬇️ The @CRFoundationUS continues to make clean air accessible for so many!!
At the Corsi-Rosenthal Foundation, we're committed to improving human health by promoting clean indoor air and supplying air purifiers to those who need it most. Here's how we're making it happen:

Here's the website from last yr: "Masks work. They help prevent the spread of illness. And that matters at CHEO b/c we care for children who are extremely vulnerable to viral illnesses like flu,RSV & COVID-19" It's should matter at @SickKidsNews too. #MaskUp #ProtectNotInfect

Sabrina is 31 years old and has a rare cancer. She needs a special, proven treatment that’s not available in our province - and she's been rejected for it. Today we learned the Ontario government’s own doctors recommended that she be funded to get it, only to be overruled by the Ministry of Health. Here’s the kicker: For weeks, @SylviaJonesMPP has claimed the rejections were made by doctors, not politicians. Now we know that's not true. Fix it, Sylvia.

Nice to see CHEO say that masks are proven to work. I recommended them for patients when the President asked for my personal input last month. I’m pretty relieved they’re being worn in my children’s hospital. Especially since the ER waiting hallway is beside the kids’ cancer centre. #StartWithHillary & this is something I don’t want to keep quiet on. Masks should not be discouraged in hospital settings. 🦄

When you participate in describing an ongoing health threat as a past event, this influences what the public considers reasonable to worry about and whose ongoing experiences are recognized as legitimate. This is especially true if you are in a position of perceived expertise.

A YES vote does not mean that I want to walk away from my students. Quite the opposite. I want to fight for the conditions that allow me to give them the education they deserve. #OntEd

Rolling out #flu & #Covid #vaccines late + ignoring indoor air + pushing handwashing + refusing to bring in real respiratory protections #N95 leads to the results below. Could @IPACCanada @PICNetBC @CDCofBC try something else? @VCHhealthcare vch.ca/en/documents/facility…

If our water tested positive for cholera, would we stop boiling/cleaning it & instead share it over & over with our children, elders, friends & neighbours? Now replace cholera with COVID and water with air. Why do we protect our water but hesitate to protect the air we breathe?

I am more than happy to NOT see Moore come out of his gopher hole just to tell us his regular “We are surveying the situation”…but I WOULD like to ask him how he plans to divide up his earnings amongst the many of us that continue to do his work FOR him. #NoMoore #UnMoored
It has now been 1,452 days (~4 years) since Kieran Moore has held a public availability or briefing. He has received nearly $1.9 million of our tax dollars. He was reappointed for an additional 5 yrs until 2031 @ $483,203/yr. I guess it pays to be quiet. Where is he?

Despite the health minister's repeated assurances that decisions about cancer treatment funding are made by medical professionals, newly released FOI records show the final say in at least one case rested with a senior ministry of health official who refused funding, despite the government’s own health agency and two clinical experts recommending it.
