Students may forget the worksheet, the test, or even the lesson. What often stays with them is how it felt to be in the room.
They remember the teacher who noticed when something was off. The adult who believed they could do more without making them feel small when they struggled. The classroom where they knew they mattered.
Academic growth matters. So does giving students an education they can look back on and know they were cared for along the way.
