Thank you @Sept11Memorial for an amazing virtual trip to the museum! @TeamForgeCCMS students learned a lot & loved seeing the many artifacts “first hand”! Our tour guide & trip coordinators were excellent! I am continually impressed with the museum’s educational opportunities!

“Stone of Hope” amidst a “Mountain of Despair” then, today, & forever. Moved by the impressive @NationalMallNPS MLK Memorial. Inspired by his actions & words. Excited to share with my @TeamForgeCCMS students. “Intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true education.”

Mathematicians on Team Forge have spent some time this month learning to plot ordered pairs in the coordinate system. They used their skills to create several stars and leaves. Enjoy a picture of our classroom "Fridge" #forgingnewskills @TeamForgeCCMS

While learning about Newton’s Laws of Motion and Potential/Kinetic Energy, @TeamForgeCCMS scientists built “ruler coasters” to investigate the effect of height on that energy! #ForgingKnowledge #HandsOnApplication @MrsLealCCMS @MrsMcDaidCCMS @MrBurtonCLSD @DrRackleyCLSD

This week, @TeamForgeCCMS Science classes built models of the arrangement of particles in states of matter and altered them to match changes in their state. They also enjoyed #ForgingConnections by having fun with our CCMS Spirit Week themes!

#SEL is driven by research, what families & educators want, & what's best for kids–not politics on any side. But lack of understanding & misinformation is causing confusion. Now’s the time for brave thinkers & tireless doers to #SpeakUpForSEL. More: bit.ly/3kyPVKG

❤️ if you love collaborating with teachers (Via P @DrRackleyCLSD)
Quote attributed to principal Mariah Rackley: "Teachers are the experts in their classrooms. They have relationships with their learners. As a leader, I have to trust their professional judgment to know what students need and guide what happens in their rooms. I trust them to collaborate, connect, and communicate!"
