Sometimes the best way to talk about the future is to start with the past.
When I introduced Artificial Intelligence during my Racing the Future keynote in Anaheim, I didn't start with algorithms, definitions or technical jargon.
I started with Hollywood.
For decades, movies have shaped the way we've imagined artificial intelligence, from helpful robots to, well… The Terminator.
It gave us a chance to laugh together before diving into a much bigger conversation about AI and the future.
And that's something I think about every time I step onto a stage.
Before you can teach an audience, challenge them or ask them to think differently, you first have to connect with them.
Sometimes that connection begins with a story.
Sometimes with a question.
And sometimes… with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
