A huge step forward for AI and for open source by Meta! We can see Team Open forming around AI in real-time thanks to the work of university research groups, to Stability AI, and now to Meta. Ironically, OpenAI is closed.
This is huge: Llama-v2 is open source, with a license that authorizes commercial use!
This is going to change the landscape of the LLM market.
Llama-v2 is available on Microsoft Azure and will be available on AWS, Hugging Face and other providers
Pretrained and fine-tuned models are available with 7B, 13B and 70B parameters.

I was going to wait until March, the 5th anniversary of release, to open source my book but in light of recent and ongoing changes to the open source landscape I am compelled to act.
Enjoy the book! I hope it helps you.
