some of the teenagers from our developer cohort @TeensBlockchain are cooking so hard it’s actually ridiculous.
we gave them blockchain dev skills… they took it personal. 😭

Every time I see young people grasp blockchain concepts through @TeensBlockchain sessions, it reminds me why we do this.

The mission for @TeensBlockchain is simple.
Educate every single teenager in Africa about the blockchain technology. 🤝🏾

So glad to be a part of this program, big thanks to my HOCs @specomolola @D_Curious_Sage.
Skill up fUNIS (Funaab International School) is a part of our final year project to give back to the community.
I had to privilege to share about Introduction to Web3, talk about @TeensBlockchain @solana and @solflare
Let's keep cooking.
Glad we did not just want to graduate, we left a legacy..
To every member of D'prolific's class of 2026, i celebrate you all.

While it's an age of vibe coding and agentic orchestration, it is still important that beginners understand the very foundations.
@TeensBlockchain has given an opportunity to help teenagers learn the basics of rust.
I am glad to share knowledge with the next gen 🔥🔥

Sat with a room full of African teenagers today getting their minds primed for 6 weeks of onchain building.
The energy in that session was different, these kids are ready.

This is why we started TIBA.
African teenagers building onchain not watching from the sidelines but actually building.
6 weeks of rigours learning and implementing.
The next wave of onchain builders isn’t coming from where people expect.
It’s coming from here.

Teenagers learning blockchain programming languages, building on-chain and shipping real products early.
We’re not waiting for Africa’s tech talent to grow we’re building it from the ground up.
We go again April 6th, get your wards to register now: tinyurl.com/TIBB2

On April 6th, we kick off our Teenage Developer Cohort where young minds won’t just learn code, they’ll learn how to write blockchain languages like Rust, Solidity and others.
Not theory, Not vibes, Real skills and Real builders.

Africa has 70% of the world’s youngest population.
That’s not just a statistic, it’s one of the biggest opportunities of our generation.
Now imagine what happens when millions of these young minds don’t just use the internet… but understand blockchain, build on it, and innovate with it.
The future of this industry won’t only be shaped in Silicon Valley or Europe.
A huge part of it will come from Africa’s young builders.
But talent alone is not enough.
Access and education are the real unlocks.
One major reason we’re building @TeensBlockchain

Cooking something with the team!
I am taking the frontend part and I started with the design, quite a lesson for me that do not design before executing. Check out the design...

Just coded an ATM simulation in C.
Login✅ check balance✅ withdraw ✅
I also learnt to always validate input and to keep functions small and focused. Any tips to make it cleaner?

I am BEYOND EXCITED to finally announce @telaganigeria -- our branch of Telaga based out of Nigeria 🇳🇬
We're expanding to Nigeria to do all of the same things like feeding kids, building schools, clothing people and more that we've been doing in Indonesia, but now in a different part of the world
For our first few weeks, we simply want to start helping as many people as possible with food, and throughout January with the help of some CT legends, we already have begun
Powered by @solana, we've already fed ~100 people throughout Nigeria as proof of work for what we plan on doing
Here's to showing the world what Solana (and crypto in general) can really do!
To help us feed more people, donate any SPL/share fees to: telagacharitynigeria.sol

What's for 2026?
2026:
- 3 Basic developer cohorts
- 3 Advanced developer cohorts
- Outreach to over 30 schools and communities
- Expansion into 3 more Nigerian states
- 1 UI/UX cohort
What else??
Teenagers In Blockchain Africa retweeted
At @TeensBlockchain, we started this year with a clear goal to expand our outreach to as many schools as possible.
So far, we’ve secured partnerships with over 10 top schools across Lagos and Ondo States, and we’re still growing.
We didn’t choose to educate teenagers about blockchain because it’s easy. We chose this path because it’s difficult and because it matters.

This small project helped me practice using:
✅ if, else if, and else statements
✅ Logical operators (&&, >=, <=)
✅ Input validation and clean output
