Yash Rathod has been dropped from the third India A Test to make room for Tilak Varma. BCCI's obsession with turning Tilak into an all-format player is unreal.
Dropping a player who has already been performing in red-ball cricket is beyond my understanding. If it were a regular Test player like Pant or Gill, I could have understood, but Tilak is nowhere near establishing himself in Test cricket.
