This is exactly what David Ornstein is trying to say...
It's the STRUCTURE that makes coaches successful.
Put great coaches in the wrong teams, they will fail. Build the right structure first, then bring in a coach who fits it.
Don't hire a coach just because he's doing well elsewhere. Hire one that suits YOUR structure.

I remember a bank CEO who is now my egbon and mentor telling me on the first day we met, "Yomi, call me <inserts first name>. A proper African man setting me up. I responded with "Egbon, won ko mi be"... He laughed, and we've been super chilled since then.
Read the room. Discern. Even in oyinbo land... read the room. Here's Dr Maya Angelou setting the record straight. Sometimes it's not just about age...
It's a different thing if the company policy explicitly says "first-name basis"

Brighton looked Manchester United in the eye, slapped an £80–100m price tag on Evan Ferguson and refused any release clause so they could control everything like they’d discovered the next superstar.
Fast forward, injuries and a poor Roma loan later, that €40m option is basically useless. His value is now around €25m and he’s back injured again.
United avoided that scam while Brighton are left holding the bill. Back then, Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, Newcastle and even Bayer Leverkusen were all watching, but Brighton’s greedy pricing chased everyone away.
Now look at it… all that hype just to end up here. Absolute bullet dodged.
FLASHBACK | Brighton slapped a ridiculous £60m-€100m+ valuation on Kaoru Mitoma, rejected £54m/£61m+ Saudi bids from Al-Nassr while refusing any release clause to milk every penny, as we at Manchester United along with Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Bayern & Tottenham circled the dribbling wizard.
Months later, Injuries came knocking and his form dipped hard, now Mitoma is worth just €25m and stuck at the Seagulls.
Man United dodged a massive bullet while Brighton got wrecked by their own greed.
I hope clubs learn from Brighton !!!

HOW TO RECOVER YOUR DEBT
If the amount involved is 50k to five million naira, Approach the SMALL CLAIMS COURT.
IF it involves a larger sum such as five million naira and above do this
🍄. Write a DEMAND LETTER THROUGH YOUR LAWYER to the person owing you ,giving him 28days to pay
🍄 After this and he fails approach the high court with your claims
🍄The court will hear your matter and make consequential orders
🍄Execute the judgment with court bailliff
DO NOT RECOVER MONIES THROUGH THIS WAY :
A. using police ,the police is not a debt recovery agent
B. Using EFCC ,they are not debt recovery agent
C. Using thuügs ,they are not debt recovery agent
D. Using local agberos or town union president
They are not debt recovery agent
If you do this ,you are setting yourself up to becoming a cr8m8nal and no longer a creditor

How to Get Your TIN (TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER) in Nigeria (Step by Step)
Yesterday, I advised us on how to register our LLC. Today, it’s about TIN. Your Tax Identification Number (TIN) is now compulsory in Nigeria. You need it for banking, contracts, company registration, government payments, grants, loans, and the new tax compliance regime.
What a TIN Is
A TIN is a unique number issued by the government through the Federal Inland Revenue Service for tax identification.
One person, one TIN.
One company, one TIN.
How Individuals(person) Get Their TIN (FREE)
You do not need to pay anyone.
Option 1: Online (Fastest)
- Visit the official Joint Tax Board TIN portal
- Choose Individual Registration
- Fill in your details
- Full name
- Phone number
- Email
- Date of birth
- Valid ID (NIN, Voters Card, or Driver’s License)
- Submit
- Your TIN is generated and sent to your email or phone
Option 2: Physical Office
- Visit the nearest FIRS tax office
- Ask for TIN registration
- Fill the form
- Present valid ID
- Your TIN is issued
Cost: N0
How Businesses and Companies Get Their TIN
If you registered a business name or LLC with CAC:
- Your TIN is often auto-generated after CAC registration
If not visit FIRS office with:
# CAC Certificate
# CAC Status Report
# Director or Owner’s ID
# FIRS will generate it for you
Again, no payment required.
Important Truth You Guys Should Know
Anyone charging you money just to “generate TIN” is scamming you.
You only pay if someone is helping you with full CAC registration or consultancy, not TIN itself.
Why You Should Get It Now
- New tax laws are stricter
- Banks will request it
- Government contracts and grants require it
- Digital payments are increasingly traceable
Having a TIN gives you a soft landing in the new system.
I TOOK TIME TO PUT THIS GUIDE TOGETHER KINDLY GET YOUR TIN QUICK BEFORE THE ONLINE PLATFORM IS CROWDED AND FIRS OFFICES ARE CROWDED..
THANK YOU
