We just lost another legend today 😔 Emmy-winning voice actor Eric Bauza has passed away suddenly at just 46, his family announced. At different points, he voiced Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety, Marvin the Martian and several other members of the legendary cast. His Looney Tunes performances helped earn him three Emmy Awards. Some of his most memorable roles included: • Puss in Boots — The Adventures of Puss in Boots • Bugs Bunny — Looney Tunes Cartoons • Daffy Duck — The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie • Porky Pig — The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie • Woody Woodpecker — Woody Woodpecker • Master Splinter — Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles • Fozzie Bear — Muppet Babies • Marvin the Martian — Looney Tunes Cartoons • Stimpy — Ren & Stimpy: Adult Party Cartoon • Tweety Bird — Looney Tunes Cartoons • Amadeus Cho / Iron Spider — Ultimate Spider-Man • Foop / Irep — The Fairly OddParents • Tiger Claw — Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles • Master Frown — Unikitty! • Rodolfo Rivera / White Pantera — El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera Bauza originally entered the animation industry as a character designer before becoming one of its most recognizable voice performers. What made his career remarkable was not simply the number of characters he played, but the trust placed in him to inherit voices as iconic as Bugs, Daffy and Porky while still creating memorable characters entirely his own. Rest in peace, Eric Bauza. He spent his career giving cartoons a voice, and generations of characters will continue speaking with a little piece of him. 🕊️

Street Fighter II: The Movie: The Game, featuring digitized live-action sprites of the actors wearing lore-accurate costumes is never not wild to me. No one plays this at tournaments???

Joined a group called Retro RPGs expecting to see people talking about Final Fantasy Origins or FFIV. They were talking about FFX. FINAL FANTASY X. I'm sorry, I need to lie down. 🫠

Street Fighter is now getting hit with walkout reports and empty theaters. Following a Deadline reader claiming guys were leaving over the movie’s homoerotic scenes, CBN now has firsthand accounts from opening night. A friend of CBN says six separate groups walked out of his screening before the movie ended. About 14 tickets total. Then there was my showing. Friday night. 9:45 p.m. Opening night. I was the only person in the theater. One ticket sold. That lines up with the box office. Street Fighter is currently heading for around a $30 million opening, at the low end of expectations, on an $82 million budget. The critics score is rotten. And audiences appear to be getting a very different movie from what the trailers sold. Walkouts and empty theaters are the opposite of the word of mouth this movie needs. The full weekend numbers arrive Sunday. Our full review is also coming. It’s complete garbage. more: cosmicbook.news/street-fight…
