Feels like Absolute Batman is dominating everything, while the rest of the market is struggling to get the same attention.
Is the comic market cooked right now—or are we just in an Absolute Batman era? 👀
Collectors and retailers, what are you seeing?

Comic Industry Snapshot — 8/17 🏮
Today’s focus: LANTERNS
Episode 1 went beyond my expectations. The chemistry between Hal Jordan and John Stewart works, and I love the grounded detective approach.
Early call: this might be the best thing DC has put out this year.
Did it live up to the hype for you?

Comic Industry Daily Snapshot, 8/16. One book I'm watching this week, Invincible Universe Battle Beast number 12. Finale's landing and the arc ends 8/19. If it hits, back issues could get another #ComicBooks #ComicCommunity.
SNAPSHOT 8/15: "The comic market is healthy, but more selective than ever: DC's Absolute Universe leads, Image surges, Marvel holds strong. Limited variants and first appearances are driving demand. Quality over quantity." #comicbooks #comiccommunity
> Just watched Nolan's *The Odyssey* — this is the mythic, larger-than-life storytelling that half of superhero comics owe a debt to. Damon is great, the IMAX scale is unreal, and it earns every bit of its size. Nearly 3 hours but never lost me. Go see it big screen. 🔥
Your LCS isn't struggling because of digital comics. It's struggling because publishers keep shipping non-returnable product priced like it's 2003 collector money, not 2026 wages.
🌀 If the multiverse theory is real…
do you think this version of you is your best self, or your worst?

🚨 Comic Shock! 🚨
DC just canceled Joker/Harley: Malicious Intent #1 before release.
But don’t worry—they say it’ll be resolicited later.
🤡🖤 What do you think—last-minute strategy shift, or something bigger brewing in Gotham?

I was thinking about keeping this black and white, but last night I felt the urge to throw color on it. Green Goblin would be no match for a drunk Spidey.
