BREAKING: In a terribly embarrassing moment for Trump, Fox News has to cut away from his speech because he isn’t making any coherent sense. It’s beyond clear Trump is senile. Retweet so all Americans see this.

“WTU’s primary focus right now is on building community and fostering trusting relationships among tenants.” Writes Emma Anderson in her SLUG interview with @TenantsU. Read the full interview here: slugmag.com/community/people…

The tiny home village pushed by @slcmayor @erinforslc is an exercise in turning homelessness into an economic resource, discouraging real solutions. Read about it here; salt801.com/2023/06/28/slcs-…

I love this movie
Utah will begin reviewing strategic locations for the placement of four new dust monitors to capture wind events over the Great Salt Lake's exposed bed to determine the levels of arsenic and other pollutants carried to the Wasatch Front. ksl.com/article/50597731/gre…

‘The enemy isn’t the millionaire developers, it’s your neighbors’ - right wing ‘yimbies’
It's not the multibillion dollar corporation buying tens of thousands of houses...it's the folks next door, who are also renting. 🙄

If you see the mayor speaking publicly and shedding crocodile tears for homeless folks who she is directly responsible for having their tents thrown out, bulldozed, etc; shout at her. She should not be welcome in public life or polite society.
Salt Lakers have so much heart. Tonight’s vigil to honor the memories of our unsheltered neighbors who tragically passed away is a reminder of the deep compassion of our community and a tribute to the unsung heroes who work so hard to help. So much love.

She shows solidarity with Ukraine by bulldozing tents, and confiscating homeless people's blankets.
On the darkest day of the year we remember that darkness in Ukraine will last all winter where millions have no electricity, heating or water in freezing temps. At 8 p.m., we will join in turning off the lights atop City Hall for an hour in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

YIMBYs are in for a surprise when they learn what "capitalization rates" are and how developers use them to make decisions (vacancies are going to stay low.)
Really begging everyone in the YIMBY community to spend less time arguing with psychotic marxist geography professors and more on trying to find both arguments and substantive policy ideas to address normal people's practical concerns about traffic and school crowding.
