Be Jacob Misiorowski
- High school senior season canceled by COVID
- Tore his meniscus 2 games into his freshman year
- Came back, 10-0, 136 Ks in 76 innings
- Drafted 63rd overall
- Scouts doubted he'd throw enough strikes to start
- But started his MLB career with 11 straight no-hit innings
- All-Star selection after just 5 career starts
- Got swept by the Dodgers in the NLCS
- Next year: MLB-best 1.80 ERA and 252 strikeouts
- Threw the fastest pitch ever tracked by a starter (103.7 mph) then kept breaking his own record
- Swept the Dodgers right back
- Opened the World Series with the fastest pitch in WS history
- 5 scoreless innings in the clincher
- Won the first ever World Series for the Brewers at age 24 in his Cy Young year
- Loves Jesus
- Not afraid to cry on camera
He’s a legend already.
“Seminole Wind” was one of my mother’s all time favorite songs. What a tribute to the late great @johnanderson
Today I issued an Executive Order designating “Seminole Wind” by John Anderson as the official anthem of Florida.
I have also directed the @FLSecofState to erect historic markers in the City of Apopka depicting John Anderson’s contribution to Florida’s heritage.
In addition, I have tasked @FLDEPNews to work with the @SJRWMD to designate wildlife drive and trail system within Lake Apopka North Shore as the John Anderson Wildlife Drive and Trail System.
Hi .@culvers … the former IHOP in Fort Oglethorpe, GA would be the perfect location for the best butterburgers & custard.
The @Eagles management needs a total reevaluation & my condolences Bill about your father
Statement from QB Jalen Hurts’ agent on missing the rest of the season.
This is extremely serious. A pulmonary embolism is what killed my dad very suddenly and unexpectedly. All beginning with a clot that began in his leg, broke off, and went to his lung.
The only warning sign we had in hindsight was his complaint of some mild pain in his leg the night before we lost him.
Riley was 50-50 today……congrats @AuburnFootball & it wasn’t Bama’s day…..Go Vols!

So disappointing. You don't get to decide when somebody else's mental health becomes important enough to take seriously.
