Youโre proving you donโt understand what socialism is. Helping farmers with diesel costs doesnโt transfer ownership or control of their farms to the government. Farmers still privately own their land, equipment, crops and businesses, make their own production decisions, and sell their products in a private market. Socialism involves social or government ownership or control of the means of production. A government providing temporary financial assistance to privately owned farms is not socialism.
