🚗 FSD hit a destination walled off by road closures and kept hunting for an opening instead of dumping the problem on the driver.
That's the line between lane-keeping and real navigation intelligence - the planner reasons about route alternatives, not just the path directly ahead.

🛻 The Cybertruck off-road light bar is back on the Tesla Shop.
It runs off the truck's 48V low-voltage architecture, so it integrates cleanly - no voltage-drop workarounds or wiring splices that aftermarket bars need on 12V trucks.

FSD Supervised changes the math for drivers with limited mobility. The hardest part of driving for them isn't the highway - it's tight low-speed parking and maneuvering, exactly what destination parking and Actually Smart Summon now handle. v14.3.4 adds per-location parking memory on top.

⚙️ FSD v14 still defaults to the algorithmic 'fastest' path and doesn't reliably persist a manual override on repeat drives.
This workaround forces it to learn your home approach. The per-location route + parking memory update Tesla is shipping should close exactly this UX gap.

How to ensure FSD takes your preferred route
This may be obvious to some, but this is something I use everyday when I am driving home… normally FSD takes the “wrong” way home, so I used to have to disengage everytime and re engage FSD once I was on the proper road… but this little trick fixes that.
Hope this is useful to at least one person!
📍 Upcoming FSD releases will remember your parking preferences per location - home, office, school drop-off.
Tesla's own popup data shows why this matters: destination parking is now the reason owners intervene, while critical safety interventions are extremely rare.
⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised v14.3.4 is now logging 100-mile no-intervention streaks fleet-wide.
• Point releases like 14.3.4 raise mean-distance-between-interventions, not headline features
• A 100-mile streak going from outlier to routine is the real autonomy signal
The animation is cosmetic. The interval data underneath it is the story.
🔋 Tesla's Lathrop Megafactory just produced its 25,000th Megapack.
• Lathrop runs at a 40 GWh/year production rate
• Each Megapack stores ~3.9 MWh of grid-scale capacity
Stationary storage is scaling faster than most realize - and it's becoming one of Tesla's highest-margin lines.
🏭 Giga Texas running Cybercab and Model Y down parallel lines is the underrated story here.
New blue Model Y shades signal a fresh batch, while 4680 cell output keeps ramping. One plant scaling a no-steering-wheel robotaxi and a mass-market SUV at once is what vertical integration actually buys you.

17 June 2026 Giga Texas VIDEO … I’m back from Europe & Giga Berlin! Cybercab production continues & Model Y production going strong too, with several in the new shades of blue!
The 4680 battery cell portion of the factory was getting concrete delivered inside where I’ve observed demolition & expansion work underway!
The Test track has had more work on it including paint marks, dedicated lanes w/ dividers & a Cybercab testing office!
Cortex 2 ‘spart 2 chiller system fan tower seems nearly completed structurally, while more pipes, vale’s & wrapped items remain to be installed.
Finally, the N Optimus factory shows significant work with steel erection (up to 4 floors), GeoPier work on the N end, grade work on the S end, land reclamation on the extreme S & footing construction in the middle.

⚡ 24 million miles of FSD Supervised in the Netherlands with zero reported incidents.
That's the normalized, real-world dataset the RDW is now forwarding up the chain - exactly the kind of monitored-mileage evidence base that turns a single-market pilot into EU-wide approval.

🛡️ Tesla Robotaxi: zero at-fault accidents in Austin since February.
• ~700,000 miles driven
• ~100 Robotaxis in service, fully driverless
That's ~7,000 miles per vehicle with no at-fault incident. The normalized rate, not the headline, is what determines how fast unsupervised autonomy can scale to new cities.
Autonomous backing into a parking space without a steering wheel. Production-grade spatial awareness and vehicle control in real conditions. This is robotaxi-readiness capability, not prototype behavior. The maturity is evident.

Cybercab production continues today & I think I captured an autonomously driving version without a steering wheel making a graceful arrival & then backing smoothly into a parking space on the W side of the EOL!
We see many lined up outside the E of the main factory at the exit point with “Robotaxi” on the sides & the rear hatch & for the 1st time, Cybercabs are interspersed into the regular vehicle transportation staging areas, which itself may be a good indicator that production changes are underway.
Good to be back & seeing all the Cybercabs around the site!
I recently was at BVB, a company in Basel, Switzerland that had a lot of great inputs as to how building, managing & scaling a fleet service like @robotaxi & how this may be one of the biggest limiting factors to the speed of deployment that nobody (but me) is talking about.
I posted that video here on X yesterday, so check that out too for more context & thoughts on what we might be seeing with @Tesla.
🛡️ Netherlands' RDW road authority reports no relevant incidents yet from ~40,000 Teslas running FSD Supervised.
• RDW has increased active monitoring of the FSD fleet
• A clean safety record strengthens the case for broader EU-wide approval
The Dutch regulator is a key node in Tesla's pathway to FSD clearance across the EU.
