Following Elon Musk’s first-ever reply in Korean, and then a quote from Tom Zhu, today the official Tesla account quoted my post as well. Tesla Asia had also featured one of my posts before.
I’m just one very small voice living in Seoul, South Korea. The fact that someone like me can communicate with Elon Musk and Tesla still feels incredibly special, and I’m truly grateful for it.
Tesla is a company that listens to and respects even the smallest voices.
I sincerely hope Tesla continues to grow even bigger and reaches even more people around the world.

Tesla Korea has officially submitted an application to South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) regarding FSD (Supervised)!
The application was submitted on October 22, and the Transport Minister confirmed it during a parliamentary hearing on October 23.
What makes this particularly interesting is the possibility of a special regulatory exemption from existing vehicle safety standards.
Currently, 185,491 of the 238,968 Teslas registered in South Korea (77.6%) cannot access FSD, with the vast majority being China-made Model 3 and Model Y vehicles.
This application could mark a major turning point for expanding FSD availability in South Korea.
However, the exemption, eligible vehicles, hardware compatibility, and approval timeline have yet to be confirmed.
The ball is now in the Korean government’s court. 🇰🇷

Country-level approval does not yet mean EU-wide authorization or immediate customer rollout.

Tesla is becoming much more than a car company.
According to the Financial Times (Oct. 26):
• 1.74 million active FSD users, up 67% YoY
• Over 75% FSD adoption among new Tesla deliveries in North America in Q3
• A growing focus on AI, autonomous driving, and recurring software revenue
Cars still generate roughly 75% of Tesla’s revenue, but software could reshape its future.
Tesla's transformation is already underway.

Lamborghini Murciélago 대 Tesla Roadster다.
Lamborghini Murciélago vs. Tesla Roadster!
The Lamborghini Murciélago debuted in 2001, more than two decades before Tesla’s next-generation Roadster.
Despite the age gap, their low-slung profiles, sharp angles, and wedge-shaped designs look surprisingly similar.
One is a legendary V12-powered supercar. The other is Tesla’s electric supercar designed to push the boundaries of performance!
Elon Musk warns of massive consolidation in the AI data center industry.
According to Musk, debt markets have almost completely stopped funding companies without substantial revenue outside AI data centers.
• SpaceX secured $40 billion in debt financing for GPUs, backed by Starlink and launch revenue.
• More than 200 neocloud companies could face severe funding challenges.
• Only a few may survive, while many could collapse or merge.
The message is clear: In the AI race, access to capital and sustainable cash flow may matter just as much as technology.
Replying to @chamath
Pretty much.
As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.
