It wasn't about Paxton. Abbott and the political class of the Bushes were beaten by seven or eight points. Texas is a country. You have to have huge name recognition. The woman who ran against Abbott had no name recognition and no money. That was a rejection of the political class on a massive order, even more than President Trump. We have to solve that because it is close to becoming a sanctuary state. If it becomes a sanctuary state like California, Illinois, or New York- The country's over.
If they're not focused on Texas now, then they don't understand the issues politically that conservatives, the Republican Party, and MAGA have in this country.
