“Graphics are the first thing finished in a video game” Here's what @TetrEscape looked like just before the art direction was settled:
The TetrEscape title screen at version 0.5 had a plain blue title screen with a simple blue logo and default Android buttons for Play, Instructions, and About.

A TetrEscape level at version 0.5 had blocks and basic solid color squares, the player as a solid color circle, and the exit as a square with a door icon. The entire level is at the top of the screen instead of being in the middle. The toolbar is a default Android toolbar with default Android buttons and icons.

One less in-your-face thing I am particularly proud of with @TetrEscape is, whether you play with a keyboard, gamepad, or touch screen, it just works *and* can seamlessly switch between them on-the-fly. It even updates the button hint icons!

I have been polishing up @TetrEscape to hopefully release soon. It is a little puzzle game inspired by escape rooms, Sokoban, and Tetris, and *knocks on wood* I am hoping to hit v1.0 in the next week! linktr.ee/TetrEscape

Sometimes #GameDesign is staring for way too long at 4 slightly differently lit blocks to try to determine which is objectively best. Anyway, new @TetrEscape update rolling out to testers in the @inProdGames Discord later today, so you can tell me whether I chose right!
